This is a huge lesson. If you are consigning a vehicle for sale with a dealer, you have ZERO protection under law.
-
Rob has taught me multiple lessons in life. I would never rent an exotic and now I would never consign a car. Thanks Rob.
-
One thing I really admire about Rob Feretti is his mental resilience. How he deals with constant scum bag behavior and not get turned into some resentful, bitter person is his X-Games superpower. Very interesting guy.
-
The second someone tells you “I have a wire limit…”, walk away. No such thing exists if you have the cash or the credit line availability from your bank.
-
I'm puzzled as to why Rob would do business with anyone who failed to pay the amount owed to him in the permitted time period more than once. I think the answer is that this entire industry is so sleazy that such is is normal behavior.
-
Today Mr. Spaghetti tells us about how some dirt bag took his meatballs and didn’t pay for them.
-
That's just messed up. Incredibly sad that Rob is out everything because the legal system doesn't work
-
Rob Spaghetti is top 3 best guests. You know he’s seen it all and he rarely comes on the show with a benign story bc it takes more than that to surprise rob.
-
I was expecting a bright side at the end of the story. So sad there’s none. Its impressive that Rob was able to take the loss without going under. I wish him success in all his efforts.
-
Dealerships just can't be trusted these days! 😔
-
I'd like to hear if possible from Rob's lawyer, more of the details of how this went down. Once the loaning bank doesn't receive the title that should have killed the deal. Whoever is actually holding the title should be the owner. (In my very limited understanding, would love to really understand how this could happen.)
-
Wait so the dealer principle was going broke and presumably had legal issues, but was able to claim HE brought the car into his own dealership for service and that allowed him to compel you to refund $150k + turn over the title? Rob you have a shitty lawyer.
-
There was an episode on American greed that gave the whole story on this guy. It’s a crazy episode
-
Mr. Spaghetti tells us about how a restaurant stole his favorite meatball
-
There was a dealership in socal burning people like that too! CNC motors made news and the guy got arrested for fraud too
-
In this episode Mr. Spaghetti tells us how to keep our pasta safe from bullies
-
Having been slinging metal for the past 3 years I can attest that Rob is the man, smart and insightful. My wife is the Lawyer, so no where near his level, but she helps me just like his advice.
-
I worked for the biggest oldest exotic dealership in south Florida and that’s exactly how the dealership started , except the corruption going on in that place is so deep, I’m still waiting to see the day I wake and see something on the news
-
I can't believe how calm Rob is about loosing 300k. That's a decades work for some people. I'd be absolutely losing my mind and unable to talk about it!
-
That’s a pretty rough deal for you Rob!
