If you have a 10,000 sq.ft. empty land to build anything you want, how would you start?

Welcome to DESIGN SEED!

Today’s episode, we will be featuring a lavish, extravagant 3 storey bungalow that houses 9 rooms and 13 bathrooms with a 10metre long lap pool.

Lee Residence is located in Muar, a tourist locale that is well known for its historical prewar buildings and scrumptious food.

The 10,000 sq.ft. build up bungalow with 4000 sq.ft. of courtyard space property is designed by S/Lab 10, a design practice founded in Sydney, Australia with operations currently based in Malaysia.

The beauty of this luscious abode is about its endless possibilities. In generations to come, day by day, a new discovery of how this property adapts to the family’s lifestyle will always be evolving.

I usually dislike people covering everywhere with marble but these architects have made all the materials work very well together

I an Australian living in USA for many years. A designer and builder here. The design and building here is so old fashioned and boring here now, so stuck in the past. It so great to see such magic being done in other parts of the world. Your project is really fabulous.

Nicely Done. Malaysia has many talented Architects and Designers and the open space / land and tropical weather allow them to push the boundary of design… in addition, many wealthy Chinese families with a strong sense of luxury home ownership desire (look! My house.. come and look..)…

Love it when you have the layout to go with all the visuals…. Brilliant 👍

the interiors are so freaking nice! good job to the interior designer A+ for the effort but for the exterior meh its just like C- for the effort. moreover i really like the interiors with lighting effects during night time and ofc the color matching of the interiors also nice!

Woahhh!! I have been watching houses videos from around the world incld USA esp LA, NYC, Spain etc maybe around 200++ over the last 6 months..I am frm Singapore btw..this one is so so different. Like not only in terms of different from other concepts with the typical marbles and wood and whatsover, this is like really customized to the tee. u get me at the swimming pool. I hated those which is exposed and your neighbours can see type. just becos of the pool I will usually say neh not my type of houses. but this one captured my attn. U knw how to hide that pool even though it is in the middle of the house. as simple as covering it with that sheltered like roof. and those lines at the sides in the pool made so much difference to the look of that pool. The wet kitchen design is also not a typical look. if u re selling me this house, that is the selling pt...and the reading nook at the master bedrooms and how you again make the 'balcony' intimate and private. those will be my favourite spots

Stunning home 😍😍😍 I love every detail of it and very clever use of space

this design stuck with me when ever i see big ass mansion or big ass land, seeing so many of them too spacey look boring feel like shopping mall not feel like a home, having this design add a lake/pond with fountain or waterfall makes alot of differences. this channel is great...think outside of the box.

This home is stunning! All of the beautiful marble and natural finishes! The video is just so well done. Thank you so much for sharing. Beautiful experience.

Not the biggest fan of the exterior facade, but holy moly the interiors and patio/deck areas are stunning! Great job! Modern luxury That island in the show kitchen is an art piece in itself wow and the "dirty" kitchen is a show stopper too. Absolutely love the use of the natural stone finishes in every room. Would have liked to see more of the natural stone and wood materials on the front facade.

Terraced (link detached), Semi-detached & Detached. Flat tenement/apartment/maisonette, Town house, House & Mansion. I list these typical city dwelling types as I’m UK based & love your releases. Depending on upwards Sq footage (putting ownership status asides for a moment) ones property is graded as aforementioned. A bungalow is a small single story dwelling typically under 2000sq. A 10000 sq ft interior space is a huge proportioned property. Bungalow = Detached in your terms
