I think youโre going to beat it ๐ช๐ฝ I always have a tough time keeping up with my Garmin race predictions i think Iโve only matched one marathon

You'll crush Boston off the back of the 100 miler! My Garmin is currently predicting a 1:34:25 half. Racing my second half, Lisbon Portugal, two weeks today... a recent progression run with the second 5k at 1:36 pace makes me doubt my watch's optimism but with taper and race-day vibes? Will be ecstatic for sub 1:38 and anywhere near 1:35 would be exceeding expectations.

Now Iโm inspired to attempt to run a half marathon next year. I never ran more than 10 miles. Maybe Iโll see you at the SF Half Marathon next year.

It was cool to get that quick glimpse of her food. I'd like to see what her menu is like for a full week. Is it different from race days to rest days? As always, great content... only in my dreams could I do 13 miles with a 7 minute mile pace.. wow, incredible

Ok! I vote that you beat your watch!! โค๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

Nice video format, good job on beating the predicted time. I remember last fall, my watch told me a possible 40 seconds slower 5k than I actually ran in the end. 40 seconds faster might not be too much but 5k isnยดt that long of a race too. Good luck with the Boston project.

That's pretty badass. Good luck in Boston .

Ohhhh you were originally going to do Kaiser Half? I was pretty bummed - not just for the cancellation but the weather wouldn't have been PR conditions either. But I waited a month and PR'd this past Sunday at Livermore Valley Half, which is a harder course! Congrats on your time trial! And best of luck at Boston '24!!!

In the words of Captain America... language LOL

My Garmin has my race predictions all about 10% faster than reality. Not sure if this means I need to push my efforts more at race pace to try and match, or that itโs just really off.

Crushed it

What did you eat before your run I saw the oats and chia

I can consistently beat my Garmins' predicted race times, except for the marathon ๐ ... I'm too scared to push too much and blow it with 10 Km to go, 42.195 is a long long distance. But hey, this Sunday I will see if I can beat it.

I gotta admit I'm pretty jealous that your training for Boston
