  • The geranium in the Hartly is an Americana Salmon. ....๐Ÿ˜Šif you watch the college planting video, it is written on Laura's planting plan.
  • "Who buys all this junk?!" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm so glad Aaron included that question! I don't think it's really yalls style, but I bet we'd all get a kick out of seeing a bunch of the salty/sarcastic/rude comments yall get. Laura's response was perfect to this one. "Well, NOT YOU!" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  • Anyone else noticing how much more Aaron knows about plants ,he is carrying his weight in the conversationsโค
  • No one asked me...but I like the idea of a fabric curtain to cover under the sink. There are so many hard surfaces already. There are great outdoor or indoor fabrics and very low investment to change from time to time.

I would love to hear Paul & Bethanyโ€™s favorite plants, plant combinations, or spots in the garden throughout the season. It would be nice to hear about which spots are the most or least maintenance, and how that changes as the different planting areas mature.

My favorite quote of the day, "Helen says, Who buys all this junk?", Apparently NOT you Helen. I don't know. There's a lot of people out there who like a lot of different things."

I love not only hearing your and Aaron's differing points of view but the conversations between the two of you. They're funny and informative.

ok confession..... I walked into a Garden Center that had a TV playing one of your Garden Videos and I waved at you and said "oh hi Laura" then I looked around to see if anyone saw me. My goodness we have coffee 6 days of the week why wouldn't I wave and say hi!
  • I had a real chuckle, Laura, when you talked about the lack of technology at your parent's garden center.. I worked 18 years at a nursery here in Massachusetts.. all inventory done by hand, a simple cash register, and brown paper sacks for bagging up items.. maddening in some ways, but it also had a very cozy family feel as well. Thanks for a great recap as usual!!

All the folks at my local garden center know Laura and Aaron from Garden Answer. I do it all the time - "do you have such and such that Laura has in her garden?" They chuckle and say either yes or we don't carry that because it doesn't do well in our area. The garden centers really need to know what you guys are doing and planting because your avid followers will be there asking for plants you talked about. That is how I started to get O So Easy roses because Laura said they don't take a lot of care. I now have several plants and I do next to nothing and those suckers grow like crazy.
  • Aaronโ€™s imitation of your Dad, Laura, has reenforced my wish to see and know him more. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • I loved seeing the photos of you guys when you were young. How cute. Do you ever look back at these photos and think, โ€œwho are those kidsโ€? I know I do when I look at old photos of my husband and I.

If you're going to do a video of annuals from seed, please also do perennials from seed. Trying to keep to a budget but also add beauty that sticks around.

You two are too funny! My husband was sitting near me as I watched this today, and when you started talking about Aaron's messy desk, I just glanced over at my husband to see him chuckling, and we both cracked up laughing. This is a subject we are all too familiar with! I can't stand his messy desk! And Aaron.... Laura DID just say that about the pool house! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks for the laughs!
  • @rspruill1422
YES I would love to see a tree face collection - not all over the property of course. Just one small area. And the kids can help so the face placement would be at their level. That would be so cute!!!!
  • Those shots of โ€œwhen we were youngโ€ were so cute!! โค
  • Get The Pond Guy to help you design a pool & the surrounding landscape. Youโ€™d both love it, the kids would love it too. The area could also incorporate an arbor or pergola, or gazebo in the area surrounding the pool - a win-win! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I wish I had a garden center of such amazing quality as your parents and with staff with so much knowledge and love for what they do. I love how natural and honest you and Aaron are in your discussions and that you show you donโ€™t agree on everything but that you also discuss things and listen to one another. I enjoy your videos and I always learn something and feel uplifted.
  • I have watched you for awhile...all the way back when you used to say Aaron didn't like to speak or be on camera. It struck me in this video how comfortable he is now. It's good to hear info from him as he often has a different take on things that are happening around the property and/or important to think about from his point of view.
