She called him "Dad" immediately! He went all out for his little girl. I loved the "it's a girl" balloon". What a great idea! What a beautiful union! PRICELESS!

I met my dad in 1995 when I was 35....and 9 brothers and sisters I didn't know I had(all half siblings). We had a long hug too, and tears. We lived 4 hours apart all that time. He drove a logging truck, and had driven by my home many times. He said "There was a black lab that would lay out on the highway in the sun, and she wouldn't move for anything, just sat there wagging her tail, so I would honk at her". That was my dog, and I remember yelling at my dog to get off the road when I heard the truck horn.

Damn I'm crying he seems so excited to meet his daughter. I feel bad he missed so much of her life but they still have many more years to make up for it. Congratulations to them how heart warming!!

I love how both thought in a similar way to mark the occasion. The father celebrated her important birthdays with cards & gifts they missed. The daughter with a photo album with all her important birthdays. ☺

I was adopted out when I was a newborn.So was my sister just younger than me.We have the same birth mother.But different dad's.We were adopted into the same family.Our adopted parents have been very good to us.Our dad died four and a half years ago.We still have our mom.
