There’s 7 billion people on the earth and you decide to marry your cousin...🤦🏻‍♂️
  • @crystalidx
Imagine being born and not knowing why you are suffering.
  • @Lastluke
One of humanity’s worst traits is clinging to religious and cultural tradition even when it causes needless pain, suffering, and strife.

Oh, it stresses you out, lady? Don't have six kids with your cousin! Inbreeding is so horrific. Whether it's royal families or regular ones, it's a bad, bad idea.
  • @yanikaulitz
"My wife is my mothers sisters daughter" Yah mate, she's your cousin 🙄
  • @apothnesk0
"The doctors treating my kids' illness is what made them like this" BRO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS
  • If marrying their first cousin "never struck them as a problem" then lack of education about the dangers of it isnt their biggest problem...

I belong to the Sikh religion, and cousin marriage is completely and utterly forbidden in our religion and culture. We are even prohibited from marrying a person with the same paternal last name or even marrying someone from the same village regardless of his or her last name. It is extremely rare to find a person in our community suffering from the kind of issues that are so prevalent in Muslim communities.

Let the Fathers take care of the disabled children and see how quickly this tradition will change.

"They said its a genetic disease but I do not think so." -The man with 4 out of 5 kids effected. Thats not a case of disagreeing with a subject. Thats straight up denial.

Culture should not trump science. Doesn't matter what colour, race, religion you are. This practice should be illegal.

“Why wouldn’t you want to marry your first cousin” I’m disgusted🤮

Egyptians married their brothers and sisters and the rate of congenital defects was very high. Tutankhamen was a product of brother sister incest and had a cleft palate, spina bifida, club feet, and epilepsy. The links between close genetic /incestuous relationships resulting in children with severe mental and physical impairments and diseases are well established. Whoever chooses to breed with their first cousin should also take on the responsibility of accepting their culture of incestuous marriages is harmful to their children and a large risk. That is not to say disabled children don’t deserve to live, but these are avoidable genetic disorders.
  • No one should be marrying their cousins whether first or distant. Your cousins are like siblings. Period!!
  • @wEstEgg8899
This should be made illegal for the sake of the children.
  • @marcallukas
Mother an father blaming medicines for his children illness. What a ignorance culture of marrying your cousin. The boy are physically blind, but his parents are blind to smartness.

In Kazakhstan, a Muslim country, families check their family trees back SEVEN generations because they have known for centuries of these dangers.
