Sang reached out to me about his missing father since 1980 and just a few days prior found out where his father's last known address was after an online people search. He gave me that address and I went to see if his father was still there.

Thank you to Hugh for helping me film this.

Unfortunately, real life doesn't always have happy endings. It's rough man but you're doing really good work and the people you help are very grateful. Hats off to you man.

Sad but awesome story... it’s all about fate and timing. I’m sorry for sang’s loss and may his dad RIP. I feel sad for the wife because she lives alone and she seems very upset for losing him. She seems shaky and very emotional and I hope there will be more beautiful days for her. I wish sang would connect with her and let her be a part of his life too. C’est la vie/that’s life!!

A very sad story. I'm sure he rather know the truth and have some closure than to wonder his entire life, even if it is a sad ending.

So sad. This made me cry. I hope his wife and son find peace

Kyle, as a two tour VN vet I truly admire & respect everything you are trying to do to help reunite these families. God Bless you, man.
  • Hi Kyle, You are so giving and kind. I love how you will go out of your way to help others locate their love ones. They need someone to care and be willing to help. The war really tore families and friends apart. I've been a subscriber less than two months. I began watching your videos out of my interest in learning about Vietnam. My dad was stationed there for three tours of duty, during the war. He is now deceased and did not share very much about Vietnam with me. I have developed an interest in learning more about the culture and food. You through your videos, have peaked my interest for more knowledge. Please keep sharing your videos. You truly have a gift that is special. You are just amazing. Take Care! PEACE!
