October 6th will either go down as one of the best or worst dates in human history

Even if the movie turns out to be bad i would probably still love it to death
  • It’s nice to see more positive opinions on this movie before the big reveal happens

Charlie Day as Luigi is amazing, he was great in Pacific Rim and all, but if you haven't seen It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia I HIGHLY recommend, that show is soooo f-ing hilarious and Charlie Day is just so great in it. It's his defining role as an actor hands down. Great vid, really hoping for the best, but honestly even if it's not so great, I think there'll be a level of entertainment either way.

When I see mario movie news i think of the reaction grayfruit had when the cast was revealed and Seth Rogan came on screen, "IM IN HELLLLL!!!!"
  • I know it’s probably not going to be the best, but I think the Mario Movie will be awesome, it’s a revolutionary that we’re only now getting a movie for one of gamings biggest and greatest mascots.

and dont forget that miyamoto directed star fox zero which had personality and good action ,that short was so well recieved that fans wanted them to turn it into a tv series and chris meledandri also stated that miyamoto senior team is involved in the movie and there is a chance that koizumi is involved because he was with miyamoto since mario 64 this shows that they are putting alot of passion in this movie also great vid

That’s a great observation on Mario’s voice. I don’t think anyone has tried to compare Pratt’s performance to the other voice actors who’ve played Mario in the past.

Honestly this type of video definitely fits your style especially your editing so keep it up!

I don't really think Illumination's films have been that good, the minimalist art style is serviceable but doesn't lend itself to anything outside of simple models. It's alright for a good style but it's impossible to take it seriously at any point. There's a lot of imagination and fun things they do for their movies that don't push the bar; but as stated, I do agree they could really do more exemplary, fun visuals if they tried. The directors and creative team are honestly what I hold out hope for, especially Ed Skudd. My biggest fear will be a conflict of Nintendo and Illumination heads trying to both be too safe in their own ways for their own brands. Illumination's comedy has never been that high brow, and Nintendo's grip on their image has only grown a bit tighter over the years. I'm hoping this creative team will be enough to break out of both of those constraints. Out of all the casting choices, I only liked Charlie Day and Kevin Richardson, have some reservations about Jack Black, and really am just completely not looking forward to the rest of the main line up. They all have plenty of experience so I doubt they'll fuck it up but, the rest have not impressed me. Chris might be able to do it and I hope he can. I never buy into the leaks, but I do have high hopes that it will be good if not decent. I hope that your childhood dreams come true and we all get an enjoyable Mario adaptation.

So, you're thinking of being a commentary channel? nah I'm joking, its good to see you change as a channel man, its lovely to see you change as time goes on. lets hope that this ones a Nintendo seal of approval!

Nintendo has been pretty picky with who they choose, especially with how said company handles their franchise... because they learned from their mistakes. So that being said, I’m also very excited for the movie, regardless if it’s mediocre or not, I just don’t want it boring... please. Let it be so bad that it’s entertaining, or relatively good, but not boring.
