Hope you’ve got some snacks ready - this is the longest video we’ve EVER made 😂 Which country’s tech do you want us to test next?
  • @AbroadinJapan
I’ve never seen someone buy so many items at a Japanese electronic store. You must have broken a record 😂
Thanks for having me along for the day man, was a lot of fun!
  • @siringc
Fun Fact, there was actually another company in Japan called "Logitec" (it's spelled the same as Logitech in Japanese), and they were in Japan before Logitech was able to open up anything in Japan, so Logitech had to change their name to Logicool in Japan only to avoid a name conflict.

To reduce the stickiness of rice id recommend washing it prior! It removes the starch and takes just an extra 5 minutes! (You fill the rice-cooker bowl with the dry rice and fill it with water, massage the rice until the water is clearer, and repeat until its semi-transparent)
  • Please give your editor a raise...the timing on those meme cuts are just perfect.

Looks like you guys had an amazing tech shopping spree in Japan! Next time round, how about scoping out some everyday gizmos. Would love to see how Japan's home-tech game stacks up against ours.
  • @touch2start
This is some crazy production value.
The fact that they did this at an actual dojo, setting up the tvs, the everything, to test out all these stuff, the cameras, and lightning mist have been set up there too.
    That is insane effort

This is by far the best gadgets demo then anyone else have done. You rock!
  • @SabinTV-NP
Oh my god! I never expected to see Chris on this channel! This is the crossover we DID NOT expect, but absolutely NEEDED!
  • @soakedpasta
This 40 minutes long video felt very short. Arun really knows how to keep his viewers engaged

Love your reviews but i especially love the visual effects an added animation. Nicely done.

You should definitely do this in Shanghai and South Korea as well!

Tech in Asia is DEFINITELY different compared to western tech!

You can find pretty much anything you thought you wanted without any fuss. My dad always brings home 4-7 packages filled with tech stuff, Japanese sweets, or beauty products because it’s way more convenient.
  • @limkevin_
Woah that didn’t feel like a 40min video knowing that our attention spans these days are all too short because of tiktok and reels. Arun really knows how to create engaging and entertaining videos!! 😮

I'm a huge fan of mrwhosetheboss and a huge fan of Abroad in Japan... It is the best collab I could've asked for!!!
  • @Superabound2
The fact that he's never seen a trackball mouse before makes me feel old af
  • @sunriseshell
Logitech has been making trackball mice since the beginning. You can buy them here too they're just not that common.
People with occupational injuries sometimes use them.
  • @ThreelsYT
I'm Japanese and it's nice to see a video that's Japan-centric, especially from my favorite Tech YouTuber
  • This is so surreal. I've been letting the Abroad in Japan channel build up videos to binge, and after the Frozen Frontier series, I went back to another video from Arun to finish it, and I was like "Oh yeah! There's a new video, I wanna watch that!" And now seeing Chris walk in was like...

The only way I can express the feeling was imagine you watch a TV show, and then switch to another TV show, only to see the character from the other TV show nonchalantly walk in. Like, what?
  • @Mike-Ybarra
I’m a drafter who uses that trackball mouse with Civil 3D every day. Once you get used to it fine control with your finger is no problem at all. I have never used the tip of my thumb to control it. It just takes some time to get used to it. Also changing the sensitivity settings will help greatly. I enjoyed the video!
