UK Stabbing News LIVE: At Least 8 People Stabbed in UK's Southport, Police Arrest Suspect with Knife

At least eight persons were stabbed in the British town on Southport. The stabbing attack occurred on Monday morning at around 11:50 am, according to the Merseyside Police. The police further said one suspect with a knife has been arrested.
“At around 11.50am, we were called to a property on Hart Street to reports of a stabbing. There are a number of reported casualties and more details will be confirmed when possible. Armed police have detained a male and seized a knife. He has been taken to a police station,” said the police in a statement.

    Police have cordoned off a house in Old School Close, Banks, in connection with this. Modern Wimpey type estate. "A 17-year-old boy from Banks has been arrested in connection with the stabbings in Southport and the incident is not currently being treated as terror-related, Merseyside Police said."
