 hearing and listening to your intuition is not only a major source of suffering because  it makes you realize when you are lying to yourself, or that you should have done something differently.... it is a source of suffering also because it can tell you what other people's intentions/feelings are towards you, and sometimes those things can be very painful... and also it can show you suffering in others, and if you are a compassionate, empathetic person, that can cause you sorrow too...

i like " ..give it all, and not be attached to the outcome."

people who are good at "manifesting" what they desire in life have the emotional maturity and ability to combine both effort with acceptance... There must be an effort put in but also an acceptance of whatever the outcome may be.

I think our intuition is a great guide and doesn't lie to us ,being out of sync with our center of energy will definitely create confusion and we often times confuse this with our intuition making bad decisions,being in total alignment with your self your intuition will always lead you in the right direction weather you like it or not,if it ain't aligned you will always create bad decisions sometimes we don't like what we hear our gut tells us listen to your intuition and make a educated decision using you head there is no hocus pocus with this just a mind body an soul armed with all the tools of the trade that we all should master ,if we just strip away all the crap that we have been conditioned by growing up and what we create in our beliefs all these are so loud know wonder we can't here anything and confused

Yea! That's the lesson! Do all you can do, then let it go... to the Power that is Above.

This was said in the Bhagavad Gita eons ago - "nishkama karma yoga". Glad it's been rediscovered and revisited here. The truth truly is one and is eternal.

Yes, love gives all and wants and expects nothing back in return. With love the pleasure and joy is in the giving ITSELF not in the outcome or results that follow. Enjoy the expression itself, be it a smile, a compliment, or giving someone money and don't concern yourself too much with how people respond. If they respond with love then of course enjoy and appreciate that. Just don't be attached to outcomes, enjoy the process of whatever you are doing without caring too much about the outcome. :D

The suffering comes from our resistance to be true to ourselves, and that resistance comes from our ego, who is fear based, and fear is just lack of faith, meaning that the source of suffering is lack of faith, not our intuition.

Your soul's overall or general purpose is to express and experience joy and love in all it's many forms and at ever increasing degrees of intensity and profoundness. Your soul is after the feeling, everything else is just a tool to help you get to the feeling. Examine your strongest talents and abilities as well as all the things you love and enjoy doing THE MOST as the best indicator of your specific purposes for this lifetime. Healing is about letting go of fear and embracing all that love is.

So interesting. Indeed my worst sufferings have all come soon after I did not listen to intuition. But I'm learning!

Let us begin and sing a hymn ...there is only one..too rehearse, one uni-verse, one word, one song, too help us belong...too make us strong too the core..one chord struck without discourse..one chor-Us ....just sung with love and nothing more. Too the wise and other wise.. who maybe still afflicted by there minds fly high, bring effluence into ur life-unite with that essence of love divine, shining so bright that even when our tears drown in fear..he is here too keep the atmosphere clear.

That is because being attached to an outcome implies some amount of fear, as well as a consciousness of lacking the very thing you desire. Fear and attachment often prevent or slow down manifesting. Love and non-attachment however allow and speed up the process of manifesting what you want. Also, our higher self or soul is making choices and setting agendas at a level usually outside of our conscious awareness. These soul choices are for our higher good even if they may appear to be bad choices.

I have goosebumps watching it!

Oh for those who think -  I don't know what intuition is - well it's that gut feeling when you know something isn't right, or that nagging voice in your head that always steers you a true course.  It's also what keeps you safe from people who could do you harm, if you don't feel right with someone then your spot on and don't trust them no matter who they are.  One guy wrote a book called the Gift of Fear - it's well worth a read.

It was said in the video but rather than presented as "soul purpose" it was presented in these words: "listen to your 'inner voice' - follow it, give it your all and don't be attached to any certain outcome..." That is in fact our soul's purpose, to guide us, and it is our purpose to listen and act on it. Nancy, the very fact that you even ask the question already shows you are on the right path!
