What I have learned from this video; Morning routine 1. Remember your dream(s) 2. Make your bed, clean environment, clean mind, enable productivity 3. Hydrate, take water 4. Brush your teeth, using your opposite hand, this will stimulate and keep you present 5. 7:00am exercise, whatever is good for your heart, is good for your brain 3-5mins 6. Take a shower 7. Do one difficult thing, easy things are depressing, difficult things keep you alive 8. Take your brain power smoothy 9. Do your reading, and journal; all genius does that, it builds your mind 10. Have a not to do lists; you must say no to good in order to say yes to great 11. Phone puts you on a reactive move 12. Write your 3 most important goals for the day; the most important thing, is to keep the most important 13. Writing things that will make today a great day: begin with the end in mind! Put first things first. The most important thing is to keep the most important, the most important thing. First things first. Write down three things you want to do for yourself professionally, personally, and don’t touch your phone until you do or accomplish one of those things. It doesn’t have to be big things, it could also be small things 14. Just don’t get up, pick your phone and start reacting 15. Technology is neither good or bad. It is just a tool, you can use it positively or negatively 16. Technology is a tool to be used but when technology is using you then you become the tool 17. First you create your habits then your habits creates you
  • My first thing is listen to Gospel music then worship praise ,pray and give thanks to my God.
  • @wattshawn007
Love this. The first thing I do when I open my eyes is say thank you God for waking me up. 2. I go take my vitamins and hydrate. 3. I pray. 4. I meditate. 5. I brush my teeth. 6 I exercise physically and mentally for 2 hours. I read sometimes when riding a stationary bike or I listen to audio book while jogging. I do this every morning for the last two years and it has transformed my life I no longer choose depression. I no longer choose reactivity. I choose happiness. I choose joy. I choose to be of service. I choose the perfection in me that was given at birth.

Remember my dreams Make my bed (excellence is habit) Glass of water with probiotics Brush teeth with opposite hand (wake up other side of body, keeps present) Do a little workout (morning time heart rate up by 3mins) Shower (cold, do difficult things to be mentally fit) Brain food Read Journal Not to do list (no phone 1hr) You create habits and habits create you

Tip for cold showers : use a hand-held shower head and start with the feet and hands, and go up gradually, rubbing fast the skin with your hands, especially the thighs, belly and shoulders. I've been doing that for 6 months every day and I love it, I can't even stand hot showers anymore.
  • @karenmorley2562
I am thankful for the day ahead, I smile and fill my heart with joy, meditate in stillness, deep breathing whilst bare feet on the ground looking at the early morning sun rising, stretches and gentle exercises, oil pulling, make my bed have a warm glass of water, some days I don't have the time for them all . Learning to be okay with that 🙂
  • @ihate4chan
    1) Recall dreams 2) Make your bed How do you do anything is how you do everything 3) Drink Water 4) Brush teeth with opposite hand, forces you to be present 5) Light workout, I'll probably do yoga as well though, Get your heart pumping for 3 mins 6) Take a cold shower 7) Make a brain power smoothie 8) Read 9) Journal Don't check the phone until you cross these items off your list First you create your habits and then your habits will create you My current morning routine - 1) Wake up late at 9am 2) Check phone immediately 3) Brush and eat breakfast with my phone in hand 4) work I do not like my routine, thanks Jim for giving me small actionable things I could work on to kickstart my morning, it's not like I'm not a morning person (infact I think mornings are the best), I have just gotten very lazy. I'll start this from tomorrow and report after a month without fail!
  • 1 Recall Dreams 2 Hydrate yourslef 3 Brush with opposite of the dominant hand 4 Meditate 5 Exercise 6 Jorunal abt 3 main aspects of ur life 7 Have a brain power smoothie MOST IMPORTANTLY DON'T TOUCH YOU PHONE FOR A HOUR OR TWO AFTER YOU WAKE UP FIRST YOU CREATE YOUR HABITS AND THOSE HABITS CREATE YOU

Your audio cuts off at 16:30...but thank you for making these great videos it's really helping me to make better decisions every day to improve my life.
  • @StillGods
This is exactly what I did every day for over 45 years. Even after being retired. I kept these habits. This year. It is more difficult. Due to health issue. When I keep these habits. I do much better. This guy is 100%right about this. As for the cold shower. If that is too much. Splash your face with cold water in morning.
  • @TalkMoAboutit
As a Coach I found it challenging waking up and teaching them what to start in the rising, I enjoy my risings to myself. Therefore starting tomorrow I will start back with NO TECHNOLOGY In the first hour. Even meditate without being guided. I will also start brushing my teeth with the opposite hand. Love that! Everything you mentioned I do which makes me feel great because it is important. I also Pray and visualize the first 15 minutes of my day! Affirm how I want it to go and say affirmations and show gratitude 🙏🏽
  • I start my day by drinking a glass of water after I wake up, doing mindful meditation, reading for at least 25 mins, doing 5-10 mins of exercise, or jumping rope for a start because I'm building this new habit, and then taking a cold shower.
  • Jim, one of your super powers is the calmness that you bring to your content. I have found that the greatest teachers understand that this calmness is the path to create understanding and change. Bravo!
  • I start my day at 4:30. I read a page out of a daily stoic book and the quote and lesson for the day. I take my essential supplements and head to the gym at 5am. There I raise my frequency for overcoming the physical challenges I set up for myself. I feel much better and sharper the rest of the day. A sleep routine is just as important. I use a grounding pillow case, subliminal programming, and a blind fold for compete darkness. I look forward to optimizing life with these little hacks.
  • The really first thing I often do when I wake is praying, The thing I need to remove from my start routine is my phone. Thanks Jim for sharing this incredible lesson. Be blessed
  • @Lady05V
I have stopped touching my phone first thing in the morning now. I am up to am hour before I look at it. This has made my day better and made me feel better about my day. ❤
