the biggest difference between the two franchises is that Barbie characters’ hair doesn’t move at all and Bratz characters’ hair moves way too much for no reason

Fun fact about the Barbie lore: in Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale (one of my personal favourites), it's shown that she's actually an actress in all these films! That's why they're usually titled "Barbie in (insert whatever here)" because she's the star of the film :)

That “pauper, not popper” joke had me wheezing. The thought of someone making a movie where Barbie’s just having a really bad trip is so funny to me and I don’t know why. Thank you for that mental image, Kurtis.

I love Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper so much and recently made my girlfriend watch it. The way Erika ignores the other seamstress after she says "Can I come alooong?" has always cracked me up 😂

To explain kurtis' question about Barbie lore, its revealed in a later movie that barbie is actually an actor and all these movies are her movies.

While I think Preminger being severely bitchless was part of his motivation, I truly believe his main goal was to preform. “How could I refuse” slaps so immeasurably he just needed an excuse to put his whole Premussy into the theater.
