How did a nickelodeon show from 2013 have better effects than a movie from 2024
-
So they spent the entire budget on paying all the actors to be in the movie, so there was nothing left to afford decent special effects.
-
Bro my mouth DROPPED when I saw the "water" in the tank. I was in shock. Like no way that wasn't on purpose, I refuse to believe it.
-
i saw the actress who played pheope on shorts a couple of times and it definetly looked like they were just having a good time and were happy to be back together for a while, so that‘s good for them
-
the cgi was so bad i thought this was an old movie at first
-
Somehow the CGI in the new movie is even worse then the TV show
-
Chloe having a one minute recharge time for her powers doesn't make sense, cause when she was a kid, she could teleport in seconds... Tch.
-
I WAS NOT PREPARED TO HEAR DARK MAYHEM SAY "NEPO BABY" HELP AFSHKDJHGDKJ
-
Should've allowed Max to recognize his villain dreams😔
-
A reason why this doesn’t work is because everyone is older so Billy acting how he is now makes no sense
-
I feel like it IS for kids who weren’t born yet when this show was airing so they’ll go back and watch the old ones and revive the audience.
-
The funniest thing about this movie is the fact that the old villains were more entertaining than the family with their kids
-
Realizing how much the actors have grown up is such a shell shock.
-
I think the "de-aging audience" effect in sequels is just Hollywood slowly forgetting how to calibrate for "family friendly" content and instead overshooting it to "childish". Part of it might be that it's simply hard to recapture the exact feel of an original property especially when returning to it after years or giving it to new people, but in general, i think even 10 years ago writers and directors understood young (and mixed-age) audiences much better than they do today. Nowadays it's like preteens = brainless babies, teenagers = even edgier adults.
-
I still can’t get over the concept of a movie with a laugh track
-
"Thunderman aWAYYYYYYY" is just embedded in my head forever
-
As he said, “and do evil villain stuff like this,” I got two unskippable ads
-
You know its bad when the movie looks like it came out in 2011 and there is a laugh track. Its 2024. We don't need a laugh track
-
3:16 I loved this show as a kid and I'm a highschool senior now. I was so ready for some great nostalgia bait but um idk what I'm looking at

I don’t know which intro of Alex I like more.. “allegedly grown man watching a kids show” or “Disney channel movies, they don’t always make sense”
