Here's another manga recommendation video from me, this time with 6 more manga for you to potentially get introduced too. I tried, as always, to come up with a diverse list of genres and demographics, so there should be at least one story in here for everyone.

Do let me know what manga in this list intrigues you! These videos seem to be a favourite on this channel and I love reading your guys' thoughts on the series.

Fragrant Flower does such a great job with the school discrimination storyline, I was so impressed by the later chapters
  • @linesinmotion
Only noticed this small mistake, but at the begining I say "seven manga" when I actually recommend six, turns out I can't count when recording at 3am in the morning, oopsie. Make sure to share and spread this video out on socials, rec videos always do best when shared out! Thank you for the continued support, can't believe I'm nearly at 90k already, truly truly appreciate you guys!
  • Ever read a romance manga and thought to yourself "OMG just talking to each other!!!" Fragrant Flower is what happens when the characters doesn't have piss poor communication skill. Edit: Can't believe you didn't mention the magical crossdressing CEO in Magilumiere.

I'm literally obsessed with Witch Hat Atelier and Good Omens. I know what I'm going to do next * w *
  • @Pancoleon
I've only read Gokurakugai so I fully agree with you there and all the others look so good! A genuine must read list where every single thing in the list looks amazing and I now desperately want to read. Also, I love the sublime job you do with the thumbnails and the bits of animation you do with manga panels for your videos. They really make your videos come to life and look utterly beautiful!
  • I was always wondering why almost nobody else is ever mentioning Magilumiere, it is a neat little manga that I enjoy reading on a weekly basis a lot. Thanks for covering it.

I suggest reading THE INVISIBLE MAN AND HIS SOON-TO-BE WIFE. A story about “Yakou Shizuka, a quiet and bashful woman, works at a detective agency. Her boss Tounome, who owns the company, is the gentlemanly type, kind and dapper, though he has an extra talent— he invisible! His special ability is perfect for detective work, but he quickly come to find it doesn’t work on Yakou, who is blind and always knows if he’s near. Charmed, Tounome is determined to get her to date him and isn’t against using his many skills. Yakou’s quirky coworkers, a contrarian human man and a sisterly beastwoman, kindly watch over her as she stumbles and blushes through the uncharted waters of office romance.” The world of this story is interesting with both monster and human, funny and charming characters. Also Yakou is believable as a visible impair character too.
  • I don't usually buy manga (because shipping costs are ridiculous) but Lost Lad London is worth the cost
  • @LORDOFDRAGONS555
Fragrant Flower is the biggest highlight for me, i found the romance to be so refreshing
  • @marapodaca7580
The way you describe every one of these mangas makes me want to give them all a try! Although i don't have the time ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
  • @MHAL
As someone that also does little animations with manga panels for my videos, my appreciation for the content is overridden by the immense feeling of "cutting and redrawing that must have been a bitch" whenever a new panel comes up. Great stuff as always.

OMG I LOVE MAGILUMIERE!!!! FINALLY I HEAR PPL TALKING ABOUT IT Also I just want to say, your channel is one of my favorites. I love the way your analysis are so organized and detailed, so it's easy to follow but also not superficial. As someone who has always analyzed every manga I read in a lot of detail, I love to think about the pacing, artstyle, and use of certian unique elements in each manga I read. And I love seeing you talk about manga I've already read, cause there's a some things you analyse that I don't think about, so you make me notice things more when reading manga and it's so eye-opening
  • @yiyi453
Thank you for sharing your manga recs! It's super refreshing finding a creator who actually explores manga series beyond the mainstream and shares so many similar favorites as myself! The effort you put into animating the panels is also so nice. Lost Lad London was in my to read list for the same reason as you, and now I have to check out Eniale & Dewiela as well!
  • @ChoomChoy
Since I've gotten caught up, I've needed more manga to pick up and your videos have never done me wrong. Thanks for the recommendations!
  • @jcworks95
Your video editing and script writing is just so captivating bro! Great video!
  • the fact you started on Lost Lad in London shocked me bc I recently stumbled onnit myself and read the first chapter earlier this week. I found it cool and liked the rare multicultural aspects as well, plus the framing of the chapter end was well done. now I'll definitely have to give it a full read

Hi Lines in Motion, I was the person on your earlier livestream that recommended The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity when you mentioned you hadn't read it yet. Thank you so much for reading it, it's one of my favorite manga right now and I'm hoping it's a matter of time until it gets an anime adaptation.
  • @ricebawwls
Added every single rec to my "to read" list, really looking forward to them. I actually forgot I was reading and loving Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, so thank you for the reminder! Absolutely love your video essays and recommendations, they're a visual delight.

Gokurakugai has more than one shot??? I loooovvvee Tao because of how cool she is while still being part of a main character. Jump female main characters are usually fanservice-y and when older are often more femme fatale than a older wise figure.
