Texting and Driving - "From One Second to the Next"

My kids caught me texting and told me off. I was so ashamed of myself that now my bag goes in the boot, where I can't hear, see or reach it. It's not just young people.

The little boy in the first story, such a sweet heart , I just wanna hug him. Bless that mother.

People who text to the people who are aware that at that time they are driving should also be held accountable.

Poor Debbie, I can’t believe that list of injuries she had. So sad.

Why do I keep watching these? All I am doing is crying. My oldest daughter has a habit of texting. I have screamed, cried, begged her not to do it. If you don't care about yourself what about the family lives you may destroy? You are no better than a drunk driver. She knows she shouldn't be doing it but, I feel guilty for what I am sure is going to happen.

Reggie deciding to dedicate his life to speaking about the accident that he caused by texting and driving is the one good thing that came out of any of these stories in the way that these people’s lives have been altered.

I have never texted someone while I’m driving. I never will text, nor speak on my phone until I’m parked at home out of my car completely!! I have even yelled at other drivers to get off their cell phones, but 9 times out of 10, they do NOT get off their cell phones‼️‼️😡😡

I have found that the drivers who text and drive think their brilliant drivers who are above the law and can react but don't realise how distracted they really are

I wish every drivers Ed class has to watch this documentary.

I'm so sorry about these people, Debbie ,her dog that left the earth.and for the poeple who have caused this should be in jail for the rest of their lives

Once again, here I am commenting. Debbie, I am so saddened to read of the loss of Charlie and the severe changes to your life. You do not deserve the life you have been left with. My heart grieves for you, your former life and for your family that has had to adjust to this tremendous change. The person (girl) that caused this should be held accountable financially. It sounds as though she is young. Fine. Allow her to live her life and pay a monthly stipend for the rest of HER life to pay for the damage to Debbie's life and to the lives of her family. There, Judge and Jury. May God have mercy on her soul

I know exactly where that teenager needs to spend all those hundreds of hours of community service. Helping Debbie every single day!

I am watching this video to prepare my girls 3 girls that are not driving yet, to prepare them for the real world. Thank you for your testimony and reality on YouTube. Powerful and stunning are these stories. My girls will watch this immediately as they come to the age of driving. God bless you all.
