  • Russia has always been a brutal country, even to their own people.
  • Russia is a stark reminder of how critical the value of keeping corruption and megalomania down is in a society, and what the consequences for failing to do so can be.

My Mother lived thru stuff like this as a teenager during WW2 fleeing Romania, now the city is in the Ukraine, I miss her very much, but in a way it would kill her is she was watching this, so sad and evil too.

Lavrov knew the UN Security General was in Kiev, having just come from Russian talks. Despicable.
  • It almost feels evil to sit here and eat my oatmeal safely in America and go through my daily life while this is happening to so many innocent people. Just as it makes me sick to know that sometimes my food goes bad in my fridge before we can consume it all while there are literally children and people dying enduring disease, starving simply because, no food. All of this is absurd. We're in 2022 we carry computers in our pockets and we can speak to anyone in the world in a split second and can see someone in real time on the other side of the planet with no effort. But we have not come to terms with the fact that every human being has the right to food and housing and safety from dictators. No one should have to be afraid of unprovoked War. No one should have to sacrifice their sons and their husbands and their fathers. There should be no such thing as refugees in 2022. This s*** should be ended already. Why has no one taken Vladimir Putin out? He is a mass murderer.
  • Even with all of the terrible things we've seen these last few weeks, seeing flowering trees and greenery come back to life in Ukraine just gets me. It would almost be poetic if the war weren't still raging. The trees are flowering here in North America as well. It always brings me hope after the dark days and long nights of winter. I hope the Ukrainian people can hang on and enjoy their beautiful country again.

It’s unbelievable how fast governments find the funds for wars and weapons but not for their own citizens in need otherwise.
  • How can the world allow one madman to kill so many, when will someone go after Him?
  • What a complete waste of so many lives, and all because of one monster is having a temper tantrum that the world won't lay down at his feet.

My heart goes out to the brave women who remained in Ukraine, choosing not to abandon their brothers, sons, and husbands
  • God Bless The People in Ukraine and The Russians who are against this invasion.

Bless that woman and her mother & may they make it out of this mess completely safe!
  • This war has to stop it is so hard to watch but we must not look away Victory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
  • "They really get slaughtered by the Ukrainians in a whole bunch of very creative ways." This statement makes me happy.
  • Incorrect translation: "my windows are fine so far" she says, he translated: "all my windows are blown out." I fully support Ukraine, but you have to be careful with the translations.
