Elsa’s parents were so toxic, they basically ruined their daughters’ relationship, made both feel socially awkward and gave Elsa insecurities.

RIP to all the castle staff who got fired so Elsa’s parents could ruin her mental state.

For a while, I was pretty into the fan theory that the trolls somehow used their magic to steal/freeze Hans' true love for Anna in order to get her together with Kristoff. Still kinda am really. lol

Dylan During Tangled: Why would they let him in? He could’ve been literally anyone returning the princess Dylan During Frozen: Why would they shut him out? He just saved the princess
  • I never really caught on with this movie but in all fairness, it isn't a "bad" movie. The only big issue with Frozen is that you can tell what scenes were rewritten due to the huge positive reception of Let It Go and the early parts of the movie were never rewritten. It's pretty common knowledge at this point that Elsa was supposed to be the villain of the movie. This is why Hans is such an inconsistent character. For example the scene where Hans is arresting and trying to reason with Elsa, and the scene where he leaves Anna to freeze to death is a complete 180 of Hans' character that I don't think Hans was putting up a facade. I think the betraying Anna scene was the result of a rewrite and they never changed Hans in previous scenes. I kinda wished they went with the original story where the years of isolation and fear of her powers broke Elsa psychologically and she uses her newfound freedom to become the monster her parents feared that she'd become. This would create a self fulfilling prophecy where as a result of that fear, they locked her away which turned her into what they feared. To me, this would ask an interesting question of "does someone who has done terrible things because of the fact that they've never known love deserve love in the end?" Then again, it is a Disney film so they might never have intended to go that deep.

Elsa actually has PTSD from almost killing her sister as a child. I had a psychiatrist tell me that. Really makes you look at Elsa in a different light. This movie is special to me though. I see a lot of myself in Elsa. I had one younger sister that I lost to cancer. I feel very personally connected somehow.

Dylan in frozen "this is child abuse" Dylan in tangled "I love child labor"
  • The entire movie: is about elsa's superpowers dylan: are they going to address her superpowers?

" 3 of my brothers pretended that I was invisible...for a year." Imagine being ignored by your sister for fourteen years.
  • Hans: “ 3 brothers pretended I was invisible for 2 years” Dylan: “ imagine being ignored but your sister for 14 years “ That had me cracking up 😂
  • @MechanicGopher
Olaf was willing to literally die for her yet it doesn’t count as an act of true love
  • @vmain3175
“Is it ever address that she has magical powers?” No, Dylan, that’s totally not the entire plot of the movie

It amazes me that people get weirded out by anime because of the large eyes but then turn around and watch movies like this with no problem like what
