Dr. William Davis, who actually pointed out TO Food Marble that the Aire device COULD be used for SIBO testing, recommends NOT hitting your gut biome with even that dose of glucose or lactulose for a SIBO test. Also, he says to "Ignore the package description of the applications of this device, as it only discusses its use to identify FODMAP foods for elimination, an approach that does nothing to address the SIBO CAUSING FODMAP intolerance." Instead he recommends an approach using simply 2 teaspoons of inulin, or another good prebiotic fiber, after your fasting baseline test (and when your Aire device has "recovered"). You can eat your normal bacon, eggs breakfast with the inulin. Then test every 30 minutes for about 3 hours to get a good timeline.

Thanks for this. I just got my Food Marble Aire 2 and am excited to try it! Does lactulose tend to cause a lot of bloating, more than say fruit juice if that is a trigger? I just drank a celery apple cucumber juice and got crazy bloated.

I just ordered the Aire Device from Amazon but it did not specify a number or is it the higher price #2 the package with the test envelopes, I have SEBO for 6 months and it takes that long to even get into the door at the Gerontologist and the first thing they want to do is a colostomy and an endoscopy. I have been following Dr. Marc Pemanthal at Ceder-Ciani in La -- MAST program!

So happy I found this! I bought FoodMarble Aire 2 + food intolerance kit packs a while ago now, which I wanted to use but... I get high readings most mornings, before eating anything. I rarely saw the levels to be low. This morning before eating I had 7.1, mostly methane... I also did a prolonged water fasting and even after not eating for a few days, I still had some high or medium readings - do you have any idea why this could be? I just supposed that this device could be defective, but maybe it's not. I don't know even how to address this. I just downloaded your roadmap to gut discovery <3🙏
  • Are glucose and luctolose are included in the package with Aire 2 in order to test for Sibo? Or using fructose could be fine specifically to test for sibo? I wonder if it is possible to test for all types of sibo by myself if I don't work with any practitioner yet.
  • @stacydunn1110
How do you buy the glucose drink for the sibo test?
  • @joeyassyrian
What are the gas readings benchmarked when it comes to the scale, is it based on physical demographic like weight, race, sex, etc.? It looks like a one to ten scale? Also do you know if you have a specific brand of food rather than a meal, will it pull nutritional info for example if I take a popular protein shake?

Hi Amanda I love the work you do and appreciate it. I have methane sibo and I recently bought a food marble aire 2. I have taken a biofilm disruptor for a month and I have just started taking Rifaxian/ neomycin for 2 weeks I am 7 days into this. And everyday I'm taking my methane and hydrogen readings with my aire2. They are always both at 10 is this due to the die off of the bacteria (herxhiemer reaction) or something else. My doctor doesn't know and food marble that's my question
  • @sweetvictory3100
Do you do consults in afternoons? I tried to book but i only see one time frame. Im a really complex unique case.
  • @CoLFC
Hi, I've recently been through a load tests (stools/bloods) because I'm suffering with excessive bloating to the point sometimes I can't breath. All the tests came back clear so my doctor says its ibs. I have no pain, only discomfort. She prescribed alverine, it seems to have helped but at times I still get extremely bloated. Does this sound like ibs?
  • I have recently been diagnosed by the standard breath test oredered by my doctor of having hydrogen based SIBO. I just finished my 14 course of Rifaxin. I purchased the Aire2 device to monitor my progress. Is this a releible way of seeing if I back slide? Or do I need to get another SIBO breath test from Trio Smart?
  • @LivLeask
Curious if you happen to know if the hydrogen sulfide will be a new device, or somehow integrated via software update to the Aire 2?
  • @ASMAA9177
Hi! So I have been having upper abdominal pain with burping and fatigue on and off for over 15 years. Sometimes i get breaks for 2 years but when I have it it would last anywhere from 3-8 weeks. I was recently diagnosed with sibo but wondered if there is more to this gut issue. Does sibo symptom go away on their own and come back like this?
  • @wendyharvest4596
Hello- thanks for the informative video. Do you know how I link my data to my practioner? I contacted FoodMarble and they were perplexed by my inquiry. Is there a way to acquire the backend data with the ppm info? Thank you-
  • @lalareal180
Does anyone know if the air 2 works with an android tablet, which essentially can be used just like a phone. I know air 2 works with androids... I contacted and asked company, but havent heard back yet.
  • @aaronmiles3846
You were blowing into the side that didn't have the mouthpiece. Was that an oversight or are you supposed to breath into that side?
