No matter the technology, Vox is still work on Radio waves
  • @neutro1538
On Vox’s screen, when he gets the blue screen of death, if you pause and read it talks about an ‘unsafe mode’ so there’s probably some alternative form of Vox we haven’t seen yet
  • I have a very strong feeling Alastor was not taking vox seriously at all when they were fighting, especially with how he says vox is powerless without Val and velvet

For those who don't know, the pilot episode of Hazbin Hotel is still said by vizi to be canon with future episodes of Hazbin Hotel and the entire series, so the pilot episode is still in the story line.

I don't think when Alastor "nearly bet" Vox it means that he actually lost, because why would Vox STILL be so caught up about the ordeal? He seems like a pretty power-hungry guy, so maybe a near-loss like that would give him a grudge, but he seems super hell-bent and paranoid since Alastor arrived. imo it just sounds like they stopped fighting mid-confrontation for some reason (also, Alastor absolutely dominates him in the their song).

Vivzi has confirmed that besides the visual differences the pilot is mostly canon

One thing I love about Alastor is how he reminds me of the shadow man from the princess and the frog.

Well, alastor has a massive effect on technology, seeing as how when he's in a video/recording/picture, his body and face being glitched and obscured on it, along with the virus that he seems to give vox with no effort, which is the one that also knocks out the power of the entire city.
  • Alastor’s Backstory is pretty vague but basically, he was a former Radio Talkshow Host in New Orleans back in the 1920’s. But this Radio Talk was an alibi an in reality, behind that smile we find out that he was a serial killer an judging by his rank as an OP Demon, the death count must have been ridiculously high an he would broadcast these “murders” on his radio show. But like all the Great Serial Killers in the United States of America, the jig was up for Alastor and he fled but not before receiving a gunshot wound by a hunter who mistook him for a deer, hence the horns an deer ears. An because of Voodoo being part of New Orleans whether he practiced it or not, Alastor gains THAT power as soon as he makes it down to Hell. Just like he made a name for himself on Earth, he started causing carnage and chaos to the Sinners.

Well these two might be in a endless cycle based on their powers social status and popularity in the fandom But with Alastair's ability of dark fudu magic he definitely needs a strong strategy he would definitely win in a fight With vox he's abilities to to control technology and spying on people through TV screens he does have some range attacks on citizens and Alastair he would possibly take a advantage to over run the hotel with yees With electricity and hypnosis those would definitely give him a chance to against Alastair

At best for Vox, him and Alastor’s fight probably ended in a stalemate he barely survived.

I'm assuming when they fought, Vox's win was either a humilating win or where Vox didn't feel like he won, because if he had a win against alastor that he was happy about, I would have thought it would be smug about it but he seems pretty upset.
  • @shadowfan1642
"He almost beat vox" I honestly think alastor just lost interest in vox but I'm just assuming
  • @Spr1ngggg
I think the battle between Vox and Alastor when Alastor "almost won", was more like it was a draw, but closer on Alastor's side
  • @TheWarLizard
I don’t think the line should be read as a narrow win, it seems to be read as “Didn’t he almost kill you last time”
  • @cube9291
Not really related to the video but I find it interesting how in the scene where the entire pentagram city loses electricty, one section, though became darker, still had lights in the windows. That might be an animation error or might be the fact that one pretty big section of the pentagram city isn't dependant on electricity/isn't controlled by Vox. I think it might be the cannibal town because they seem to be very old fashioned and probably don't use modern technology as much. Again could just be an error but pretty interesting.
  • Stolas vs. alastor would be a good one, seeing as Viv has said that she doesn't know who would win, but she was leaning towards stolas Personally, I would say that alastor has this stolas rarely uses attacks, and alastor uses his powers in pretty much every scenw hes in but idk

    >unsure if the pilot is still canon "I literally attacked you last week." -Sir Pentious, S1E2 "Radio Killed the Video Star"

Can you imagine an episode where Charlie ends up on earth. The effect of seeing how souls live before they get to hell on her mind would be interesting.
