A notable seventeen year member of the administrative staff at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he leads a diverse and global “service- learning” program for college students. Mr. William Lamb insists that chaos is really the lack of order, not the lack of control. William believes that overcoming the control of chaos begins by responding to chaos instead of reacting to it; in a fight or flight reality, the best thing for us to do is step back and respond before we react. Excellent talk Dr. Lamb! William, it was an honor to share the TEDx stage with you. Your prayer over me before I spoke is a testimony of the kindness you speak of in this talk. Funny, I didn't realize till now that we both told stories about wedding receptions. Ha! You're good man, and I'm glad to have you as a new friend. I'll share this talk enthusiastically. What makes it extra special is the time span you cover. So often when we have the chance to do good, we don't consider the ripple effect of our actions years and decades from now. This is an important perspective we need!
  • Impacting chaos one life at a time. I have known William for 32 years. He lives each day impacting chaos. We all matter. Dr William Lamb has been impacting others for as long as I have known him and my guess is, he will continue. Your chaos has a name.

Dr Lamb’s connection to his audience is powerful and heart felt. His storytelling connects with you because it is from the heart and the truth. If you ever get to see him in person...do it. He can help lead change in any organization.

So thankful for my friend, Dr. William Lamb. We all can make a difference and people matter! Instead of telling people what they want, we need to tell them who they are. They are somebody and someone is believing in them to succeed.
  • Life is chaotic. Although, in the chaos, we can serve others, empower others and let them know they matter. Thank you, William, for your insight and experience.

William Lamb's Tedx talk is a powerful reminder that our words can often have such great impact on others. Sometimes we all need a little reminder to be more generous with our positive thoughts. Yes, I believe "We can impact chaos, if we will empower others to dream!" Well done, William!
  • I never tire of listening to William Lamb and I always find myself a better person having listened. Life's greatest gain is to positively impact our world & to improve the lives of others. William does this every time I interact with him.

Excellent. We don't really have an idea of the impact we can have on others simply by paying attention and showing love. Thank you, William.

“The courier of koolaid!” Dr Lamb is a courier of kindness, laughter, grace and living out the words he says! I’m so thankful for his mentorship and impact on my life! He’s the real deal!
  • Great talk! Taking the idea of Entropy as the measure of a systems unavailability to do work and applying it to people, is a paradigm shift in my mind. Imagine the cascading effect if we all impact chaos in our daily lives and give our “system of people” access to more ability to “do work” and unlock those things that were unavailable to us before.
  • Great talk from our friend. He is truly making an impact teaching others how to make an impact.

Awesome talk! It’s amazing how small gestures changes impacts people when God is involved. Thankful for this encouragement.
  • We can all make a difference. Thanks William for reminding each of us.
