No stranger to the TEDx stage. Building on her powerful TEDxWanChai Women talk in 2015, Lori talks about taking a chance on YOU and not focusing on what other people think about you, but rather what you think about yourself.

The road to success is paved with failure and determination. From mother, to chef, to entrepreneur her journey was anything but smooth, but it was all worth it!

Lori Granito is the founder of Kitchen Sync, Hong Kong’s first culinary incubator for start up food entrepreneurs. She is also the owner of Go Gourmet Catering and the award winning Magnolia private kitchen. She is the co-founder of Little Burro, a growing chain of San Francisco Mission style burrito restaurants. Lori was responsible for the development and marketing of her company’s concepts, including implementing the marketing plans, developing all dishes, organizing all PR, as well as the recruitment and training of staff. The ongoing success of her companies is directly attributable to her vision, energy and skills.

2024! This is still motivating 7 years later. I've been afraid to move as a Realtor but you are definetly inspiring and I hope you're still at it because you're an awesome speaker!

Sometimes the thing you're supposed to become just finds you. Wow!!

This video is really only 17 minutes not 50 minutes which is good. It's a good video & should be edited down to it's correct length. No one wants to watch a 50 minute Ted Talk & it's only 17 minutes. Please fix it so views will go up. It deserves it. Thx! ❤️ 💜
  • Excellent video. Thank you for these valuable and useful tips that give a person a strong impetus to move forward to achieve important things in life and overcome difficulties.

Great message... I was just watching an interview with billionaire Mark Cuban who describes himself as not being too serious vs the people he hires as perfectionists/ type A. Entrepreneurs understand success comes with failure and risk and danger. I hope the speaker knows her jump to be an entrepreneur and a speaker is changing the world.

You can get bitter, or you can get better. That is powerful! Lori Granito: remember the challenge and remember the name.

This was a great message. I remember when one of my professors told me: "Jump when it feels scary to jump."
