I've just received my TRF and I got band 7 in speaking and an overall score of 7.5! God bless you, Keith. Your videos were so helpful, including introducing various linking words, collocations, phrasal verbs, idioms, and of course, topic-based videos. You know why I chose this video to comment on? Cause I used the ideas and language introduced here to show off in my part 2 and part 3 Speaking test. Noteworthy that I didn't attend any class and also I had limited time to prepare for the test. To do your bit = to make a contribution You can do your bit by eating less meats, driving less frequently/ ptaking bicycles - play your part = do your bit - kick the can down the road: to delay making a difficult decision - grapple with an issue/problem/difficulty of sth - face a problem head on: deal with a problem directly <> put your head in your sand = ignore - make a dent in a problem. = make a small impact Climate change is a surmountable challenge. If you are putting your head into your sand of it, you can’t make a dent in this problem. So we need to face a problem head on and implement solutions.
