The exact one I got (12,000 BTU): amzn.to/3jVRtf2 (*full disclosure as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra but helps me make more videos :)

If you wanna use it with a sliding door like in a living room get this adapter: amzn.to/3lSwqvs

With the constant heat wave in Los Angeles I literally couldn’t take the heat because it was too hot to sleep so I forked up for a portable air conditioner. Thankfully my apartment has an AC in the living room but it doesn’t reach my room.

My concerns were hooking it up to the window for the exhaust house, the AC being too loud to be able to sleep or work through, and it not being strong enough for my master bedroom. Thankfully all of it was super easy, it literally took 20 minutes to figure out the window extension piece and connect the hose. The sleep mode which is turned on only through the remote works wonders, I set it to 68 degrees and sleep mode about an hour before I’m in bed, and my 130+ square foot bedroom feels cold within 10 minutes so long as I have the door closed to the living room. Otherwise if the living room AC is off the hot air from there goes to my room and it can’t handle the heat. With nose cancelling headphones the noise is nothing to worry about and my coworkers say they can’t even hear the hum via Zoom as the Bose 700 do a good job of isolating that noise on the microphone pickup. Overall pretty happy with this portable air conditioner for my apartment so far, curious to see how well it works as a heater in the “LA Winter.”

I can't install a window mounted air conditioner in my apartment so the setup on this made it an easy choice.

Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! youtube.com/post/UgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-… I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I have 2 for over 3 years... They cool and heat extremely well. Also, very cost-efficient. I notice almost no increase in electric bill running 24/7 during the summer.

Let me make a correction....never wash the air net at the back of the AC with warm water but just use a normal paint brush to brush of dust when you are cleaning because that net is very fragile it may spoil if much pressure is placed on it.... that is how I clean my own and it worked....

i like the way how you block the lights with the post-it pad, because i also do the same thing lol

Wish these ac companies would include 2 filters. While the other one is being cleaning just pop the other in. Good review btw. I've been sitting on getting one of these for a while now.

The blue light makes for a good nightlight

I have one..its good but if you have a high bed or high furniture it won't circulate the air properly..positioning is key with this device
  • I found out about these in 2017. I was freezing at work while it was 101° outdoors. My supervisor told me to adjust the air... "What air?😅" I was looking for this big clunky thing in the windows. The whole time I was sitting next to it thinking it was a part of the office appliances, which, it was, but I thought it was a part of the computer systems

Good review thanks! Just checking if you know… will the vent tube work thru a doorway? For instance, if I use it in my kitchen, can I vent it thru to my garage?

Great video! We ordered one yesterday but found your video and it made me more excited to get it! Our garage is about 28x15 so hopefully this helps! Do they sell replacement exhaust pipes in case they get punctured or break?
