  • I think one of Tim's most attractive attributes is his commitment to his marriage. Its really nice to see more of him with Sarah.

Can't believe that his turn as Judas Iscariot was not mentioned. He made that role more intense than any version I have seen - he was on fire with talent and charm which is exactly how cornered villains should be. He was born for that role.
  • I discovered Minchin after his "Not Perfect" went viral, and attended a science fiction convention cosplaying his hair-and-eyeshadow character. Two people at this 6000-person convention asked, "Are you supposed to be Tim Minchin!?" Totally worth it.
  • every single time I watch him, be it a old song, a new song a musical or interview, I am left absolutely speechless!
  • Delighted to stumble on this. Have adored him for 15 years. Quirky, immensely clever humanist. Charming critical thinker.
  • Tim Minchin is one of the most real, human, genius, Renaissance Men this world has ever known. He has literally kept me alive in some dark moments, though he's half my age! 👍💙💙💙🥰✌

As someone who worked in bars for 29+ years and spent a few more years with traveling artists the song I’ll Take Lonely Tonight is one of if not the most beautiful love songs I’ve ever heard.

There's that saying about the world not needing another good musician, that what it really needs is another good man. Luckily Tim is both.

I only started taking my canvas bags to the supermarket when Tim told me I should. Honestly, I didn't realise that was the way. That in its self is an incredible feat of social change from any one person. And that doesn't even touch on the rest of his career.

I have seen Tim perform three times (two in LA, one in NYC) and have met and spoken with him. He is an utterly gracious, sincere, lovable bloke.

Such a grounded person, creative, intelligent and manages fame well.
  • I really enjoyed this look inside his life with his beautiful wife Sarah. She has stood by him when he was struggling in the beginning and has been by his side through all the moves and ups and downs in his career! They seem very much in love and happy after all these years!

What a great story. I am an American and just discovered Tim. I saw a video where someone transposed his work from the early 2000s and went looking for his stuff. I was a bit disappointed that he isn’t that same guy anymore - I thought I missed out, but he’s so much more! Love discovering his stuff and can’t wait to discover all his stuff. Thanks Tim, for being you!
  • I can't believe that he's actually not a bigger star. Tim is ridiculously talented!
  • Tim got really lucky to have found a complimentary partner such as Sarah 🥰
  • I always appreciate a personal insight into this talented artist. I stumbled across him in 2006 and was immediately drawn to his humour and skill. He is absolutely magnetic and mesmerising live, leaving a lasting impression. His insight into the human condition is so hauntingly accurate but never earnest as he cleverly intertwines it into a comedic milkshake of songs, music and performance. His playfulness of sensitive subjects is so well observed. I find him utterly fascinating. Seeing him in documentaries discussing so honestly his fame and experiences in the business is always compulsive viewing. He is one of the most rational, self-reflecting intelligent artists out there. His genuine openness is refreshing and I admire his willingness to keep delving into new creative terrain. A true artist.
  • I've been lucky enough to have followed Tim Minchins Career for Years.... He has a Phenomenal Talent and is Refreshingly a Bloody Nice Human Being He keeps it real with a Bloody Great Supportive Wife , family and friends. I did some backing vocals with him in Cheltenham Town Hall ,Glos ,UK. I was 70 at the time , sitting in the balcony, back row. Thanks Tim for the Laughs, Music, and for Giving Yourself to the World. Your Profound Observations have Educated People of All Ages and Creeds. from another one of your Adoring Fans. Break a Leg you Beauty

I’m from the Scottish highlands and I’ve yet, in all my 45 years, to meet an Australian person I didn’t love. I was a nurse until spinal degeneration stopped me from working, and I’ve worked with lots of Australian nurses, known Australian folk who came here to work in bars and hotels and others who were passing through and every single one I met was so happy and down to earth. Tim seems to have that lovely, warm spark that the ones I know had. He’s a sweetheart and I love that he and his wife are still so in love.

I was only vaguely aware of the character he created on stage early on. I enjoyed his work, but I am doubly charmed by seeing how he crafted his success and how he had the wisdom to steer clear of the pitfalls of fame. Some people turn their entire existence into a wonderful work of art.
