No one can resist my Schweddy Balls. Pure classic. A Christmas tradition in my home.
  • I remember they did one about a 5 bladed razor. The end line was "5 blades. Because you'll believe anything." Today they have 5 bladed razors.

I've watched a lot of snl compilations, and this is one of the best. Eddie Murphy...hot tub, Mary Kathrine, Ed Farley, just love the old school

I once asked a motivational speaker if he believed in ghosts. He answered no but that he hoped they believed in themselves.

That first skit, the best part was David Spade trying not to burst out laughing the entire time. So much fun :D

I remember watching the Colon Blow skit live as a kid. It threw me into a fit of laughter that lasted well after the skit was over.... I remember the commercials came on after and I was still wheezing with laughter at that skit barely able to breathe. I think that was the first time a TV show did that to me.

The Chippendales audition is iconic...not quotable but oh so good. Farley was a really great dancer, actually.

Watching this actually made a lot of my mom's jokes and references make a ton more sense. Plus I recognize some that became ongoing jokes, cool to see the origins of stuff I remember as a kid/teen.

A lot of great sketches from the late 80s and early 90s. And that I remember seeing so many of them live is amazing considering I only watched SNL at my dad's, every other weekend. Truly, every one of that time period's episodes counted.

When Debbie downer says she can’t have kids, I die laughing

RIP SNL, the 80s were the last time you graced my screen.

the schweddy balls bit: can't see them, but sounds like as soon as alec says his line, everyone gives a standing ovation. as they should, the wordplay in that sketch is so damn good.

If you ever need to win a trivia contest the Colon Blow theme song was sung by the late, great Phoebe Snow.

The Golden Years of SNL when it was actually witty, goofy and fun.
