Hearing the jingle of McDonald's is our kind of place it's such a happy place returns many memories to me.
-
In the 60's my grandparents would always take me and my sister to McDonalds after church if we behaved. Great memories!
-
Good ol' times, nothing more than just old vintage memories.
-
I can never look McDonald's the same way after watching The Founder
-
I want to eat some mcdonalds food from the 60s, probably a hell of alot better than what you would get from there now.
-
Ah the good old days! The classic 60s! Love these commercials! Thanks for sharing!
-
The last time I was in a McDonald's was August, 1974. No regrets since.
-
I heard from my granddad that the fries in McDonald's were much better back then because they were fried in beef tallow.
-
"Spill Proof lids" Bruv they ain't got that anymore.
-
That first commercial looks like it was done by the studio that did Schoolhouse Rock.
-
I ate 10 big macs in 15 mins back in 1970, haven't had one since
-
At A&W, you could get a root beer for 10(small was 5) cents and a hot dog for 15 cents. I can remember my mom complaining that it cost 75 cents to get us 3 kids a hot dog and root beer!
-
I remember McDonald's parking lot full of pickles, and birds dive bombing for french fries.
-
Back in the day when they would fry their fries in beef fat. The fries were a darker shade of brown than they are now.
-
I noticed how everyone in the TV commercials back then had natural teeth. Now all you see are fake veneers that look "too perfect" to be real.
-
McDonald was quite 'organic' in those days !
-
When I was a kid back in the late Sixties and early Seventies we had our own version of the McDonald's song we would sing in the car on trips and on the school bus: McDonald's is your kind of place Hamburgers in your face French Fries up your nose pickles between your toes LOL! Memories!
-
That last one was deeply disturbing. There is only one thing to do to stop those talking burgers...................EAT THEM!
-
Having food run around laughing and screaming is pretty terrifying
-
I ACTUALLY HAVE A COUPLE OF "MCDONALD'S ASHTRAYS" FROM THEIR RESTAURANTS FROM THE EARLY '70'S❣️🚭
