Lily isn't a little girl at all. Lily is you/us/everyone. When I first heard these lyrics I almost cried because the story isn't about a little girl at all it's about people growing up sheltered and protected from the evil in this world. The people that will destroy your dreams, people that will take advantage of you, and people that will manipulate and abuse you. This "girl" is a representation of us all growing up and wanting to explore and see the world only to try new things and then we get enticed with our relationships and drugs and just anything we all know we shouldn't be doing because we "let them in". This song is so beautifully written because it sounds like a lullaby which is how things always start. So beautiful. Until it all goes horribly wrong somehow and we've somehow let some sort of demon in our lives which slowly starts to take over. NOT MY WORDS SPREAD THEM SO PEOPEL UNDERSTAND WHO 'LILY' IS :D

I don't know why but this gives of a sad feeling😭😭 as if the guy was really cursed but he really loved the girl who loved him back but acted impulsively when she stabbed him.

Lily's Storys :( (Lily was a little girl, homeschooled most of her life. She didn't have any friends outside of her family Which only consisted of her mom and dad. Her parents shielded her from the outside world, and didn't let her see people she didn't know. All the way up to the age fourteen. she didn't know how regular people acted. One day, her mom and dad took her to a theme park called kings island. She walked inside, seeing so many people shocked her. She walked with her parents for hours, refusing to go on any rides. She had to take a break, and when she did she lost her parents. She then was approached by a man who told her "I can help you find your mom. All you have to do is follow me." She took his hand and followed him to the exit, and was never seen again. Dear parents. You can't shield your kids forever. Let them grow up or your kid could turn out like poor Lily.) :( Lily :(

It was amazing. This song could be potrayed as a devil trying to enter a girl or an angel trying to enter the girl to protect her from the cruel world😶idk..I just badly want a movie with it

The fact that the beauty of this song lies in its metaphoric interpretation. The "little girl" represents us as naive individuals who have not yet experienced this world, because people tell us its dangerous. But it's only through exploring, deciphering and wandering do we realise this world is indeed a very cruel, dangerous place. People will try to shatter, break, manipulate you, but that's just the way things are. We must fight against these dangers.

Thank you for making this. It introduced me to the song, and this is just really well made. Also, even though he was controlling, I find it really sad that he had to die. My favorite line that you wrote in the animatics was "everything you wanting gonna be the magic story you've been told..."
