It's unbelievable that Linda Gray never won a golden globe or Emmy for her portrayal of Sue Ellen. Her acting is top notch even as you view this today.

Linda Gray was the reason for Sue Ellen, and (of course) Sue Ellen loved "Dallas" and Larry Hagman! They were actually friends 'til Hagman's passing, late in 2012. Anyways, you don't mess with Sue Ellen!

Great scene love it was Ray pulls up in his truck the sleazy music starts playing lol..then the camera pans to Sue Ellen standing there in her see through nightie the shape and of her body Ooft..then the two best lines one when JR says “ I’ll buy you a puppy” and Ray to Sue Ellen “ is there anything I can do for ?” 😂 ..classic

That scene where the nightgown appears see-through for like 2 seconds was rather risqué for this era - and on tv yet ! Same as the dialogue hinting that JR might be impotent. We used to watch this show ever week; I remember the line about "I'll buy you a puppy" like it was yesterday ! No wonder this series captivated the country.
