The mother is numb and angry. She seems so drained and tired. I feel so heartbroken for her. The system let her and the beautiful daughter down. The judge needs to go and seek help.

Judge should be in prison. He practically signed that sweet little girl's death warrant.
  • I appreciate his sister saying “yes he had horrible issues” “he should have been evaluated and supervised” I hear so many family’s (aka flying monkeys) of narcissists saying they were fine, it’s not their fault.

Suing the judge won’t bring her daughter back yet I would sue anyway so this never happens again by that judge.

The judge sounds a bit sexist. He called her a “crazy mom” which she obviously she isn’t. She cares about her children, like most parents. He didn’t take her seriously. Doesn’t sound like a very fair trial

This poor lady was all cried out. Her eyes told her story not her dried up tears. This lady is deeply saddened.

My daughter is living this now. The dad’s “rights” are more important than the child’s safety or his violent behavior.

As a foster parent, for years I've been watching the system give innocent children back to abusive parents. The courts don't care. The social workers are too overloaded with work to care. We need stronger laws to protect these children or this same thing will continue to happen.

Don’t say the mom is “too unemotional”. Everyone deals differently with the death of a loved person.
  • you know her stepdad truly loved her when he says “my little girl” while crying 😭

Would that judge allow his granddaughter unsupervised visits with a son-in-law like Kaiden’s father? I’d bet he’d use the long arm of the law and every ounce of his judicial power to prevent it.

Too many judges have blood on their hands. The system protects them, it needs to to be changed.

You can absolutely tell the step dad had more love for her than her biological father. Sometimes, bloodline does not mean you have the right to be a parent. Another angel gone.
  • Wives get to escape the abusive life with husbands yet the kids have to still be sent back to replace the punching bag for the abusive parent.

My cousin killed himself & daughter two years ago in Ontario, Canada. Even though I can't still wrap my head around what he was thinking at the time, my heart aches for this Mother.

This has happened so many times...judges making ridiculous decisions.
  • @ronyalemerrill
That judge should be in JAIL. What a disgraceful display of “justice”.

Judge should be fired he needs another career this just ain’t it her blood is on his hands.
  • It sounds like the Judge was partial and even mocking. The evaluation that HE ordered said the FATHER had mental problems and should not be unsupervised with the child UNLESS he was in treatment. What did the judge do? Ignored that (obviously is a narcissist himself and couldnt deal with those psyche evals coming back unfavorable to the man he was favoring) and now this child is gone. He needs to be removed from his seat and charged with something. When are these Judges and other officials who screw things up this badly gonna be held to account? Enough is enough.

This reminds me of a line from "Law and Order"; he HATED his ex wife more than he Loved his daughter. What a selfish SOB he was, truly heartbreaking.
