Red Notice wouldn’t be complete without the amazing CGI.

That being said, the special effects wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for the amazon team who put together impressive and very demanding shots.
The big dance sequence between the Rock and Gal Gadot seems like it would be fairly simple, but due to Covid-19 safety measures, filming became much more complicated. They took some extra time and the CGI team had a lot of work to do, but they managed to bring the moment to light flawlessly - we wouldn’t even know that they used CGI at all! Another complex scene was the battle between the trio - but it was surprisingly quick to film since Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot were all totally in sync with each other. A few takes, sugar glass, weapons, and special effects added after the fact created the perfect moment - including sound effects that really sold the scene.
The prison set itself was extensive, but filming within them required some major stunts, CGI removal of wires, and fine-tuning the look of the explosion that happened live on set. These fires weren’t all practical though - one shot in a Ryan Reynolds versus Ritu Arya face off only had a light flash - but you wouldn’t know it seeing the final cut.
The three leads impressively performed almost all of their own stunts and not just the simple ones - CGI was used to nix the wires connected to their harnesses that enable the actors to safely jump through windows, off buildings, and sliding down walls. As for crashing through a waterfall? While the practical stunt car contraption did the work on set, the heavy lifting was done by the special effects artists who made sure the tropical background blended seamlessly with what was captured safely in the studio.

    4:49 i think u have to rewatch the movie or that scene and put your glasses on... They DID NOT perform that stunt. 5:01 You can clearly see the stunt doubles. You are just showing the same scene form the movie so it looks like Rock and Reynolds are doing the stunt.

    i was honestly hoping in this movie that Dwayne Johnson to make a plot twist and catch those 2 thieves and clear his name and back to being a bad@ss police or at least catching one of them while the other get a Red Notice on their name and he'll be assigned for the case to get them, like seriously they always make a movie about criminals outsmarting and making the police a laughingstock. Another movie where criminals won and the Police/Interpol humiliated was "Now You See Me" and the part 2 of it...I'm already so tired with those kinds of movies. I really want to see a movie where it's the other way around, where the police outsmarts the criminals and making those criminals think they've outsmarted the police when in truth they're the ones getting outsmarted. And at the end, those criminals would have a defeated, surprised pikachu face. That will definitely be satisfying to see.
