I was particularly interested in seeing the colour because we are in the process of building a fireplace with surrounding bookcases and my plan is to paint it the same colour as yours are. The brave choices you made with color and composition are worthy of a magazine spread! $10.00 for that vintage box is a steal. Its gorgeous. Oh my gosh...I practically jumped through the screen when you showed the bronze statue of Liberty! I am just finishing up a guest room with the theme of American and President Lincoln and flags. I have never seen such great prices on those gorgeous frames. I got into the ornate gold ones about 2 years ago. Sometimes I put a dark wax to age the gold a little. But they are timeless.

Yeah Canada! 🇨🇦 Which province did you leave? I was in Ontario but I moved across the country … the antiques in both Ontario and Québec are beautiful. I’m sure the East Coast has many …. It not so much in the Western provinces. Loved the thrifts you picked up! Good deal on everything. Can’t say I had a favourite as I loved them all! Hope you don’t paint out the black on those two frames … it gives them some uniqueness as compared to all the other frames you have!
