I'm shocked at the Surface Pro 3 surviving the five foot drop. Mine shattered and was unusable after a two foot drop on a hard surface.

You two should've cosplayed as Jobs and Gates! Preferably the "Pirates of Silicon Valley" versions...
  • that last test was unfair! the bluescreen's stand kept it on the surface where as the spinning pinwheel rolled off the mac
  • @JacobsT75
I really hope you bring this series back!

the second test was extremely unfair due to the fact that the MacBook fell on its bottom allowing it to escape with minor dame, but on the other hand with the surface, there was a landing that made it split In too
  • Thank god I listened to you. I thankfully bought a Mac, right before I accidentally dropped a 50lb error message on it. It still works! Thanks guys!

Where can you download that "Spinning Pinwell of Death" background from the old iMac G3?

the worst thing that happened to my macbook pro (2009) is it slid off my lap and landed on the steel leg of a chair that was next to me (2-3 ft). it now has a ~1.5 diameter <1mm dent on the bottom. its also covered in a bunch of other smaller dents around it from smaller accidents. to me this adds character value to this thing, which just makes me like it more. also the fact that this thing has been running well after 6-7 years (with half my hard drive reserved to windows7) is what really amazes me. of course it cant run games anymore, but its fine with sketchbookexpress, skype, steam, firefox (1-2 youtube tabs, 1-2 forums tabs) i do have 2 windows 7 desk tops so any games i play are on that. (one is having issues and i havent had time to fix it) this computer has been an amazing piece of hardware, and part of my life. had it since i was ~10, gave entertainment for a few years, helped me with some problems iv encountered in my personal life. this has made me a pretty large fan of apple's products, but windows is also very useful.

    1. Surface is a tablet... not a laptop 2. Don't insult linux 0_0 3. WHY DID YOU SHAKE THE SURFACE LIKE THAT?!? No wonder it didn't turn on... Get that man away from computers...
  • @CullenBoyer
oh this series is painful, but super entertaining
  • @jamiewright913
First two actually depends on how you throw it and how it's positioned
