This is Formula 1 like you’ve never seen it before. The @dutchdronegods follow Max Verstappen’s brand new @redbullracing RB20 F1 car for a full lap of Silverstone’s Grand Prix Circuit. The world first uninterrupted FPV one shot was captured by a manually piloted custom built drone, designed specifically for the challenge of keeping up with the car at speeds of over 300kph.

It took Red Bull and the Dutch Drone Gods over a year to create a drone that can accelerate two times faster than an F1 car, reaching 300 km/h in just 4 seconds with a top speed of over 350 km/h. The development was accelerated by access to know-how and processes of Red Bull Advanced Technologies, a high-performance engineering arm of Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team and trialled behind the RB8 and RB19 cars driven by @liamlawson30 and David Coulthard.

what should we film next with the fastest camera drone in the world? 💨
  • @kekblob
10/10 for putting the full un-edited lap with no music
  • @sanderschat
mad respect to the fact of NOT using any over-dramatic music during the run...
    Highly appreciated.
  • @jaashiik
Literally one of the sickest videos I have ever seen. The trailing vortices downstream of the car captured by the water is unreal
  • @zurielsama
The footage at 6:09 is something up until this point has only been a dream in reality. Only video games have ever emulated the sense of following along race cars going flatout around a circuit in that manner, and the fact this is real tech now is staggering.
  • @EMoney513
whoever edited this and put the entire shot all by itself no cuts no reactions.. i absolutely love you for this
  • @CutMedia
Favourite project we've ever worked on! Thanks for having us, Red Bull 🏎💨
  • @FASTFPSGAMER
dude if they get camera pilots to do this for F1 racing it will deff revive the motorsport giving the fans exact feel of what the race is as the drivers race the tracks. Damn that was intense!! PLEASE MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!!! asap
  • @mistergamerguy
I've seen all sorts of fancy edits for things like this, and most of them just chomp away at a majority of the amazement that videos like this should encourage. THIS video, I'm not too much of a race car guy, but I sat here leaning in my seat around every turn, wincing when the drone had messed up, THANK YOU for putting out a video that is ABSOLUTELY above and beyond YouTube worthy!

Red Bull is literally doing side quests at this point 💀💀
  • @10MinutesVideos
The RB20 racing in the rain viewed from above looks even more beautiful
  • @DexterGG
most majestic f1 drone shots I've ever witness
  • @Twinturbovan
i have to say that this made me extremly happy to see. Im 38 now and when i was a kid i saw us go from rotary phones to brick phones, to flip phones to phones with cameras and inspector gadget and now we have smart phones and smart watches and to see drones with cameras going this fast is almost unbelievable. Our technology is so amazing. Now we just need flying F1 cars :)
  • @cartorius
"Nice job guys, we'll take it from here." slaps a redbull logo on it.
  • @RussSweet
Thank you for posting the entire lap with just the audio and sound of the car.
  • @litapd311
huge props to the drone creators as well as the editors of this video!
  • @Random-fl4ow
literally never seen a full f1 event from start to finish but would 100% see one if it was filmed like that permently.
  • @JVerschueren
I've been watching F1 live and on TV since 1974 and those are the best shots of how F1 drivers deal with heavy rain I've seen.... epic.
  • @Itsayoutubename
Thank you for not putting music over the lap. That was incredible!
  • Absolutely Amazing!! I'm actually glad it rained, got a glimpse of how the aero may work.
