Thank you so much! I'm 73 and have been cooking for 63 yrs. and my son introduced me to Instant Pot a few months ago and I love it! At 5'5" I weighed 181 lbs. last year. Today I weigh 160!!!! NO more frying. I also have an air fryer that my husband bought for me. Wish I had both 30 years ago! lol You are a very good teacher. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the great recipes. I'm just learning how to cook in an instant pot. I'm 73, and I remember watching my mother pressure cook food. Let me tell you, it was scary every time with the rattling of the button on top and crazy steam. I was a little nervous at first using my new pot, but it's not as scary as the old time ones.

I’m 73 yrs old. Just bought an Instant Pot “11 in 1”. SO GLAD I found your video. Love the recipes and the instructions you provided. This is a whole new way of cooking for me but I’m really looking forward to it. Thank you for providing these easy to follow recipes. Thank you also for providing little hints pertaining to different types of the Instant Pot, such as the different buttons and the venting. Very helpful with so many pots on the market.

Thanks for the recipe - I did the Mac & cheese like 5 times already. For everyone - Do NOT quick release or else there will be pasta water everywhere. I you wait until the metal thingy goes down on its own (about 10-15 minutes) you'll be fine :)
  • I too LOVE that masher/mixer thingie! I got mine at Dollar Tree for one dollar!
  • @angiesmith3269
My first time meeting you. You cook like I do, and you don’t talk us to death. Very pleasantly concise. Thank you for a great “keeper” video.

Where can I find the cheat sheet you showed? I saw this video...got to beef stroganoff, stopped the video, ran to the store and got ingredients. Fixing it right now and my house smells amazing, along with the bread making in my bread machine. Thank you for these videos...I am L O V I N G them.

Thanks for going back to the Instant Pot, it’s because of you why I love my instant pot. I love my air fryer as well.
  • @Cellardoor585
Thank you so much for showing such great options to cook. I never realized all the possibilities of the instant pot. The idea of cleanup bring made easier too is a win win.

Kristin, you taught me how to use my Instant Pot when I first got it. As a 78 year old invalid, it has changed my life. I was buying most food cooked (a lot of fast food). Since I got the IP almost 2 years ago, I rarely EVER buy cooked food. Your videos are wonderful. I have one suggestion about cooking pasta in an Instant Pot. A different YouTube told me that you do not keep to cover pasta with water in an Instant Pot. Just make sure each piece of pasta is wet, and it will steam and cook perfectly. It comes out perfectly. Try it some time. It saves having too much liquid.

I was a bit intimidated by the instapot because I’m older and remember pressure cooker accidents. I couldn’t sleep one night and found your favorite recipes. I made your creamy enchilada soup and it was delicious. It makes a big batch for 2 people and I didn’t know how it would freeze so I sent half to my neighbors. They dipped into it immediately and raved about it. Then I came home….browned hamburger in it and then cooked pasta for spaghetti. Amazing!!! I think I need to go shopping tomorrow to get ingredients for a few other recipes that caught my eye! Thanks for your time and effort! I, for one, really appreciate your help!

I have a love of the instant pot because of you and your videos. I used to be afraid to use it and now it’s my favorite appliance. Thank you for all you’ve done and for all the videos . Please keep making Instant Pot videos!!❤️👍🏼

My tip for corn 🌽 is turn a trivet upside down, stand cobs up. Make sure they aren't above "fill line". 1 cup water, 2 tbsp butter, and salt to taste. You can get more than 4 ears in a 6 at doing it this way.
  • I love taking frozen skinless and boneless chicken breast. Once cooked, I add bbq sauce and it shreads so easily and with a fork. Put on Hawaiian rolls and you have the most perfect sweet bbq sliders.

I live in Orlando and it's pretty hot now. My father is not that good a cook, but he does well with crock pot or Instant Pot recipes. I also can't eat large meals or large portions, so a pot that stays warm is great.... it can feed people from lunch time until late at night.
  • Love having these great tips! Thanks mucho! Helps to remind me how much I love my Instapot!
  • Just bought an instant pot, Amazon prime days, love your recipes & presentation style. When I was much younger in the late 1960’s we use to serve chili, Fannie farmer recipe, over crinkle strips of iceberg lettuce. It is a nice way to do it for summer. Jeanne (retired RN)
