I am not the most coordinated person, but watching this video many times and practicing these steps helped me parallel park perfectly the drive test. I couldn't believe it! This video was the reason why. Thanks Jay!

I would love to thank you Jay for this amazing lesson. I paid for 6 lesson at my driving school and failed the parallel parking mainly because I never control the car on my own to align beside the car hence I started looking a day before my road test. I watched this video constantly over and over and when I did enough hand motion practice like I was actually in a car. I gained enough confidence I needed plus I spent additional money to borrow the car I PASS with your help it was straight forward Thank you so much again
  • 1. Right turn signal on 2. Align beside the parked car, 3 ft away 3. Do smog, reverse gear and turn ALL the way to right 4. Stop when divider btwn ur front and back window blocks the other cars left back light 5. Straighten the wheel (2 turns) 6. Stop until parked cars license plate is in middle of ur passenger window 7. Turn wheel ALL to the left and reverse 8. When parallel to curb, straighten wheel and adjust car to be in middle of gap

  • Hello, We find tons of videos about parallel parking on YouTube. But, trust me this one is THE BEST! The visual reference point for 45 degree angle and backing up straight works just amazing! Followed this method, practiced it just one day before the test and got passed my road test easily. Thank you so much for the video. Whoever is preparing for their road test, please follow this method and you will pass yours easily. All the best!

  • I’ve been driving for 51 years. I’ve never had a problem parallel parking until a few weeks ago. (No clue what caused the change.) Your video was the most clear of the many videos I’ve watched the last couple of days. Now to go out and practice.
  • Your right..particularly using 45° other bloggers doesn't teach. Congrats.thank you..from Manila PH
