    The biggest thing here for me is honestly Kiriko being able to buffer her shift now. It sounds like a little thing but to me its huge.
  • I cannot count how many times I have died to the unreliability of wall climbs or mashing swift step repeatedly and it not trigger. So happy about these quality of life improvements.

    9:14 to be fair, I think most Mercy players won't use this as an opportunity to go more battle Mercy. i think the main benefit of this minor buff is an increased ability to ward off flankers if you don't have an easy escape route (which is obviously what you want given mercy's insane mobility and survivability, it's better if you can just defend yourself by escaping). the best dps mercy plays are when in Valkyrie, and you have unlimited ammo in ult, so I don't know that this necessarily will encourage any dramatic play style shifts. but then again, my opinion is based on my own approach to mercy and how most of the people I know who play a lot of Mercy play. that's not the entire community so ymmv

    I lost count of how many times i died from falling as kiriko because i flick too hard to teleport and can't hit it in the heat of the moment, thank god they added the buffer

    Side note not mentioned in this video but they also changed the recovery path of Junker Queen's knife. It used to come directly back towards you, but now it curves out to your right on it's way back. Perhaps giving it extra potential to hit additional enemies on return and apply a little more bleed and adrenaline heeling

    I actually like the Mercy weapon switch speed. It always felt way too detrimental to switch to your gun because it was way too slow.

    Rampage wound duration reduction isn't completely a buff. The 100 damage comes out 0.5 seconds faster, but that also means that the antiheal effect lasts 0.5 seconds sooner. I like this change, but just something I wanted to make others aware of.
  • I'm so happy with Sojourn's changes. As a Zenyatta main, I feel like I can't do a single thing against her.

    You forgot an additional sojourn buff where the damage is to charge is linear now. Meaning you now do MORE damage with lower charge than before. Now she will do 100 damage with 70 charge and 115 damage with 85 charge. Before she did like ~80 damage with 70 charge and ~105 damage with 85 charge.
