With a 250mm longer wheelbase (and overall length) the 4962mm Buzz electric MPV has been launched with a larger 86kWh useable (91kWh gross) battery pack, promising 460+km of range (that's 285 miles) from its revised 210kW (286ps) rwd single motor. Choose between a 5, 6 or 7 seater arrangement inside, plus the huge 1.7-metre long pano glass roof that is electrically charged liquid crystal and can change from clear to opaque with the touch of a switch. The Buzz also promises a revised infotainment software... which it needed.

It looks great. Fantastic to get 7 seats and two tone paint. cheers Jonny. 2x👍 I wonder if you could buy a front seat from the van and install it yourself.

a bit off topic but...i really like he uses a on hand notebook to refer to key numbers etc. makes it feel the dialogue isnt 'scripted' and gives a cool casual vibe to the review. good work dude

I’m obsessed with this van, i can only pray to ever get my hands on one in this lifetime though. Doesn’t hurt to dream
  • When I was younger my Dad looked at a Samba Bus as a traveling vehicle, though it didn't have the power he wanted/needed to get into the mountains! Both my wife and I are entertaining the idea of buying a Buzz.

This! Is the review of the iD Buzz LWB I’ve been waiting for. Nobody does it better than Jonny 👌🏽

Jonny must be my one of my favourite car journalists! So easy to listen to and makes everything interesting.
  • @koshfu
I was so disappointed that they took away the bonnet badge illumination with the regular wheelbase version after we saw it in Jonny’s buzz concept video 6 years back, glad to see it’s back in this form, overall it seems like they’ve created the ultimate buzz with this LWB North American specced out version, interested to see what the GTX will be like.

I had a Grand Espace for several years, it was the 3.0V6 so decently fast and capable of swallowing huge loads and still able to stop. This reminds me of that. Wonderously useful and ideal for long journeys with several people.

This is how the pro's do a review... best in class Jonny - as always... keep them coming.

Fabulous, wonderful thing ❤️ Guy in our car club has one and following it on a run and watching the suspension working is a joy.

First time watching this channel! And I learned more about this car than on other channels. I'm sure people complain about the notebook you carry, but I think it's great that you took notes and are providing something that doesn't feel scripted.

Seems perfect for my family of 5 in San Francisco. I have a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid now, but this saves 9 inches of length. Crucial for parallel parking and small garages.

"In the US, cooled seats come as standard, for the UK, you get a rusty spike as standard".
  • @smellylettuce
I Canada we will apparently be getting the 5 seats as standard with the 2 additional seats as add on options. I like the design, but seems to only really make sense as a commuter or local family transporter. I can't imagine relying on this for any real recreational use for long distances.
  • @loadbear
Looks fantastic though I wish they went with individual rail style seating like the T7 Multivan we have. The flexibility to take all the seats out and turn it into the Buzz cargo would have been awesome.
  • Love the LWB , it's so much better . Take care on that platform Circle though Jonny. We almost lost Thomas from Autogefühl !! 😂😂
  • @JTK24efr
the amount of research you do is bloody spectacular 👍
  • Desirability is off the chart for this, but I’m expecting it to be £75k in the spec that I’d want and that’s a LOT of cash (i.e. I can’t afford it)
  • @theonetruekirk
Recently got to see and play around in a pre production version from Europe at my local dealer here in California. It's pretty nice.
