STORYLINE:
At age 50, after a decade without stepping on a stage, Michael Jackson was rehearsing in private and planning a concert which will be completely different from anything we had experimented before, the only spectators at that time were a small group of technicians and dancers who watched how Michael created a show which would mark his return to the stage. On July 13, 2009 he performed at the O2 arena in London with his opening tour, THIS IS IT.

Had four tickets to the first opening night show of the ‘This is it’ tour. Tragically, never got to use them. No doubt in my mind that it would have been one of the greatest live shows ever performed. This is a really excellent approximation of what the experience would have been like. From what I can remember, the special effects were going to be revolutionary and involved 3D audience interaction with characters and creatures actually out amongst the audience. From the tracks here, Earth Song and Man in the Mirror are probably my favs, but let’s face it, every track is leagues above anything from any artist today. I count myself extremely lucky to have seen Michael Jackson live previously and always felt he had one more legendary tour in him. Sadly, we never got to see it. Thanks for giving us the closest thing to it.

We, his loyal fans and followers will once again commemorate his legacy and contributions to the world of entertainment. Oh Michael, we all miss you so much. I would have spent a fortune just to get to one of the concerts. I would have loved to see you live Michael and I know every penny of my ticket would have been worth the money if not more. I cry when I see you Michael and I am 52 years old but it touches me emotionally to see you and to think that they took you from us. because you also had children who were very sad, especially paris. The concert would be unforgettable❗ Me and all your fans are very sad about your loss 🥲 Some people didn't even realize how brilliant you are at everything you do. you must have been an angel, otherwise you wouldn't have such a magical aura. People fainted in droves, just like that. Just because they saw Michael. and that says something. I will always have you on my mind and in my heart Michael. For me you were the greatest. I still admire today, in December 2022, and I will continue to do so
