  • Trey is straight up tapping into another dimension, and if if can't feel that your eyes are still closed...That is what makes them the best death metal band, there is a real authentic spiritual awareness connection made.
  • I was lucky enough to be living in Florida right when MA and the other bands were on their rise. I got to see a lot of great bands between Orlando, Tampa/St. Pete, and Gainesville. Obituary, Death, Cynic, Atheist, Deicide, Nocturnus, and Monstrosity I got to see numerous times during the 'Golden Age' of death metal. Can't believe it's been so long now. We're all a bunch of granddads now!
  • Blessed Are The Sick ALBUM. Utterly ahead of it's time. Absolutely AMAZING.
  • @matdemaz
What an influential record label. So many killer bands were signed on it. It's crazy...
  • I was fortunate to witness MA on their "Altars Of Madness" tour in 1990 at The Country Club in Reseda, Ca. Their set blew me away! Was decades ahead of its time. Same year, same month, same place I also got to see Sepultura "Beneath The Remains" along with Obituary "Cause Of Death" and Sadus "Swallowed In Black" tour.
  • Finally happy to see some praise for the Azagthoth , someone should make a fukking movie on him .
  • Trey Azegthoth is a genius. I've been a fan since Alters. I'm glad Beavis n Butthead inadvertantly sold MA to alot of people became fans.
  • These little featurettes have been great! Stoked to see more!
  • Im just jamming to the incredible music in the background 😂

"Where the Slime Live - and how the slime gets washed away! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" "I demand to know the light of a promised land - I demand to see this corrosion wiped away!" Can't wait for Dec. 1st!!! Long Live the Almighty MORBID ANGEL!!!!!!!!
  • Didn’t know about the slime story, interesting.
  • To call Azagthoth the Eddie VH of trve US Death Metal can sound a long shot for many but actually it's quite close to the truth - as a matter fact, just by considering him one of the most creative and inventive axemen in Metal, Al is kind of proving my point.
  • I DISCOVERED MORBID ANGEL BACK BEFORE ALL THE TECHNOLOGY// ON A SERIES CALLED HARD N HEAVY ON VHS// IT WAS THE GRINDCORE VOLUME WITH NAPALM DEATH// AND THEY INTERVIEWED A YOUNG AND SKINNY DAVID VINCENT// HE WAS A VERY CHARISMATIC GUY AND MADE SENSE WITH HIS VIEWS OF LIFE.THEY SHOWED LIVE FOOTAGE OF IMMORTAL RITES// I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT ALTARS AFTER THAT \,,,/
  • Awesome. I’m recreating the studio setups for 12 death/black/extreme metal bands in Dec. Morbid Angel are on my list. Hex Mass. An advent calendar of death. Marshall, RAT on standby!
  • What a cool guy to tell a story of the Best band to ever!
  • Got my ticket for Seattle, WA to see Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel February 26, 2019.\m/
