Author Douglas Murray has slammed CNN anchor Zain Asher as an “absolute moron” after she claimed the Royal Family is grappling with a legacy of “the potential paying of reparations”.

He said when people talk about reparations it demonstrates their “incredible ignorance”.

“She has no idea in her racist hatred that Britain paid reparations 250 years ago,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

Not only do some British immigrants think that Britain is racist, but they feel it’s so bad that they have to bring their whole extended family here to witness it for themselves.

Thank you for saying the things that the American media refuses to say. It was insulting to me as a Canadian, when the Americans I knew were celebrating the Queen's death, while not knowing anything meaningful about Britain, the UK, or the commonwealth.

Douglas Murry, when he is upset, still has way more class than anyone on CNN.

Well done Douglas. I'm sick of people taking digs at Britain. They just repeat what they read in the tabloids, never having picked up a decent history book.
  • Love Douglas. Speaks his mind. About time we stood up and started to speak out. Too many left wing idiots.

The news in America needs to start being held accountable for what they say. As an American, I can't believe any of what they say.

I'm an American and I wouldn't believe the weather report from the NY Times!

A cheater always feels everyone is cheating on them, thieves think everyone steals, and racist think everyone is racist because all they really know is personal experience.

Her Majesty was a class act. She ruled over the dismantling of the British empire and was a fine example of an “empowered” woman, even outside of her official title. Doesn’t matter, once you’re on these sad excuse for human being’s shitlist, you’ll never come off.

As a U.S. citizen, to the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and rational people around the globe; I apologize, yet again, for what used to be the 'newspaper of record' in the U.S. The late Queen Elizabeth II had absolutely nothing to do with colonization; during her reign there was only 'decolonization'. Her Majesty worked for peace and reconciliation, and she lived a life of service performed with superior grace and modesty. I am thankful my country was an offspring of the British Empire...our system of justice, rights, and the dignity of the individual came from our English/British heritage. To paraphrase Sir Winston Churchill, 'The British Empire was the worst empire in world history; except for all the others' (Including our American Empire, which we deny)
  • The same people who celebrate the Queen's death, cried when Fidel Castro died.... incredible.

I am from a Caribbean country and I am also amazed when some Americans act as if Britain was the only huge economy that had slaves, all the large economies did back then. And why are these journalists not speaking about the entire history of slavery 🙄

The one thing that these people will never have, that the queen had in abundance is dignity! That woman stayed dignified through all the crap her kids put her through. These idiot's could never understand!
