Just a reminder: Every game costs $100 to put up on Steam. EDIT: As somebody in the comments pointed out, they also take a 20% - 30% cut from sales.

The Milo game is such a little masterpiece, obviously crafted with love. It's a shame it's been under the radar, but I'm also happy this video exposed this great game to me and over 2 million other viewers as of the writing of this comment.

It actually breaks my heart that nobody played Milo and the Magpies :( someone put all their artistic hard work into it and it’s just been neglected. I’ve been thinking of getting steam to play some other niche games that really peak my interest but I will play this game too. ❤️

This video led to me playing Milo and the magpies! it's truly a beautiful game, and I ended up getting all the secret achievements. I entered into the raffle and ended up winning a commissioned portrait of my cat! All because of this video, thank you so much!
  • It's so sad to see that a game like Milo and the Magpies has been forgotten because it means that there are probably more fantastic games like it that had so much work put into them only to be played by nobody.

It's kind of sad to see games that were made with such dedication just being forgotten

Wow, I played Milo and the magpies before watching this, because I discovered the studio (Rusty Lake) long time ago and played every single game by it ever since. And oh boy, you've just touched the tip of an iceberg, hence Milo and the magpies is just a little game made specifically for kids. This studio made 3 full-length quest games as well as more than a dozen of smaller games (like Milo and the magpies), highly inspired by Twin Peaks, with crimes, blood, surrealism, and a huge plot that every single game is connected too.

"Guilt is a hungry mirror, trapped in a prison made of clocks" is now my signature quote
  • Good news about Milo and the magpies, the game pretty much spiked in popularity thanks to this video. (I’m not kidding, if you look at it’s steam charts now you’ll see a MASSIVE spike in the player count a few days after this video released.) Now it’s sporting an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ rating from over 1,500 reviews. All thanks to Joeseppi, the dev even thanked him for bringing their game some much needed exposure.

"Milo and Magpies" sounds like an actual good game P. S. I went on Steam and bought it. Saw hundreds of reviews by people from this video. On one hand, I am glad the internet often works this way and helps people discover great things. I also imagine the game developer will not minds couple hundred extra bucks. On the other hand, just imagine how many great things remain hidden, unknown, never to be discovered. P. P. S. The game is also translated into 19 languages o_O

I’m glad that Milo and the magpies is getting the recognition they deserve because some people do not UNDERSTAND how difficult it is to make a game. You have to: -Design good visuals -Think of brilliant puzzles -Bug test the game -Make sure that the controls are simple and intuitive -Get a good soundtrack -Be original -Have a good storyline or introduction

I could see Finding Fran ending up on a channel like Nick Crowley or MrBallen. “What would seem to be a just a broken, unfinished video game would turn out to be something much, much more sinister.” …like the dev murdered someone named Fran, and every face in-game is based upon real life people that were a part of his life in one way or another.
  • @user-fl1st2ot2p
Milo and the magpies was honestly really beautiful and compelling. It's ingenious, not sure why nobody plays it.
  • It's really sad to see games Like "Milo and the Magpies* to be made with loads of love and care and beautiful artwork/artists just to be left in the depths of steam to be forgotten and left to rot.
  • @RedNumber19
I love how half these games are just game devs learning how to code
  • @yuriZO2
"I Played Steam Games That Nobody Plays" by Joeseppi - awesome video idea - i like the way he talks - funny. 10/10
  • Please make this an ongoing series with multiple entries, I want to see 10000 more games nobody has ever played. Laughed my ass off.
  • @oliverboii7034
God, the line "guilt is a hungry mirror, trapped in a prison of clocks" is so meaningless yet the line is delivered with the gravitas of someone that's sure of themselves was so funny to me.
  • Imagine being one of these game's dev, seeing your highly unpopular game in a youtube video... And then it's this one XD
