I still play the Creepshow main and ending themes. Just this morning. I swear!! 😅 Don't Let Go too.

I always send the Creepshow Father's Day GIF to my Facebook male friends with kids. 😊

I put Black Sabbath in an article I wrote a while back, but honestly you could very easily go with Kwaidan and I'd be happy.

For me, the best anthologies are the ones from Amicus. It's very hard for me to choose since I enjoy all of the ones they produced. Creepshow is one that I have never seen in full but I stumbled upon segments of it as a kid (the Stephen King segment specifically) and watched it without knowing what it was or I would have been in trouble XD. I will say that the bits I saw here and there got under my skin and that is partially why I have never sought out the full movie. Definitely can feel your love for Creepshow coming through, UP. Always a treat to see your smiling face :)

Your both on point ....so it's a tie Pete. Me personally, Tales From The Crypt ( childhood fave seen at kiddos Matinee 😍).
  • Great job on the fly! I can tell you love this movie the way I do, completely and unabashedly! What an incredible collaboration of legends! I love that George Romero, a man who for the most part cared more about the social commentary than the plot (listening to him talk about pitching Land of the Dead is crazy: "It's about ignoring the problem," "Fine, Mr. Romero, but what's the story," "it could be done any number of ways," "yes, fine, but what's the plot," "if you're interested, I'll whip something up," "is there a script, a treatment, what are we even doing here!?!), that he could just make something fun for the sake of being fun is amazing and shows what an interesting influence Stephen King was on him. The Crate might be my favorite story. Adrienne Barbeau is a bitchy, shrewish force of nature and those fantasy sequences where pushover Henry gives into his desire to do away with her are hilarious! For my money, I think you got it this week!

Creepshow for sure. I also like the Twilight Zone movie.
