shane is the MVP of this episode: he let jonny know right away about keith also doing a chocolate skull which means they didn’t waste time with the candy melts, he figured out how to make the butter cream without any instructions, he made the shiny bottom: for a guy who doesn’t love cooking/baking and didn’t come here to win, he did the best possible job; we paupers bow to him
  • @sunnyk948
I love the fact Shane straight up said he didn't care if he wins and as soon as he started talking to Johnny he went ALL IN.
  • Johnny: comparison is the thief of Joy Also Johnny: go look in the freezer and peek at Keith’s
  • @marti9038
I feel like Shane, as a person who's built his internet popularity on supporting someone having a continuous breakdown was uniquely qualified to handle the unlikely situation of Johnny having the same recipe as a professional chef.
  • I’m trying to imagine Rachel’s internal screaming and laughter… When she, as a producer, had to remain quiet when realizing both chefs had the same plan
  • @eleanorhays8605
I genuinely think Johnny is one of the funniest people the guys have ever had on this channel. he is HILARIOUS and he flows so seamlessly with the guys
  • @candiceg430
Shane: “I got to tell you Jonny, they hand out those Michelin stars.” Jonny: (voice cracks) “Oh, really?”
  • Shane should get an award for this episode. The true epitome of ride or die friendship is "they asked me to be here so here I am. I dont care about winning." to "I'm going to do my absolute best to impress this kind person on the phone trying to make baking an enjoyable experience for me" the wholesomeness of it all is just ❤❤❤❤❤❤
  • As a baker when Johnny said “they’re tempering chocolate and we’re using candy melts!?!” I just died laughing lmao that’s a nightmare situation
  • @Monique__Chan
There was exactly .0000007829185817164 % chance of this happening but I’ve NEVER BEEN MORE HONORED to share a thought and recipe with such great minds !!! ✨💀✨
  • @jocelyna2327
I love that Johnny uses the language his partner uses like "pickle scraper" instead of being too technical
  • @emyherrera
“If something’s wrong, Keith is screaming.” Keith starts screaming Absolutely perfect
  • @AnarchyStockers
Shane and Jonny together was SO GOOD, also the fact that Shane’s accidental buttercream addition actually might’ve helped since they liked the sweetness with the dark chocolate is so funny
  • @berthaduong8199
The slow realization that Monique and Johnny were making the exact same food was hilarious. While at the same time, Keith and Shane were being so confuse about everything. Love how this season started with the theme of cold and ended with fire because the entire season was fire and funny
  • @Sarah-du7vy
Something that would be HYSTERICAL is like a follow up/behind the scenes where the two chefs watch what happened and reacted to the guys’ choices/interpretations while cooking
  • @julim2603
Shane is giving "I'm not sure if I did well on my finals but, what's done is done I guess" gets an A+ energy
  • "oh no, we are the kindergarten version" HAHAHAA I loved Johnny's meltdown there
  • @HaileyNM96
Of all people, Shane Madej would be the one to be like “I hate cooking, I hate baking” and then knock it out of the park 😮
  • @lauraroth6630
Why aren’t we talking about how a) both times Jonny’s won, he wasn’t able to finish telling the contestant what the heck to do, and b) how adorable Monique’s laugh is
  • Shane did so good here. So surprised how artistic he is! (Actually... Why am I surprised?? He makes puppets!!). I would looove to see him go against Eugene. Eugene doesn't care about measuring, Shane doesn't care for baking/cooking but both are reeeally creative... Now that's a battle i would love to watch!
