Ukraine did not cut off the water supply from the Dnieper River to Crimea, it was the RuSS who blew up the dam cutting off the water supply.
-
The Ukrainian's have proven to be wicked tough. The Russians gravely underestimated them. I pray 🙏 for the Ukrainian people

Longest two week invasion in history.

Thank you for your coverage 🇪🇺🇺🇦🏴🇺🇦🏴🇺🇦🇬🇧

OF course Crimea is important to Russians. Don't forget they held a genocide of Tartars there.
-
The Russians cut off the water supply to Crimea, not the Ukrainians, when the Russians blew the dam and reduced the water level below the intake level for the canal. James should have said something.

That Bridge is going to be outta business permanently. 🎉

I guess that if Russia will lose Crimea, Putin will also lose his job...

Excellent coverage of Admiral Parry, thank you for your strategic insights.

In WWI the Russians were not insensitive to casualties in the end and there was revolution. Nor were they in Afghanistan, after which there was regime change.

Russian equipment is garbage. In fact, it would have to improve to be garbage.

I met Dr Parry once outside Whitehall years ago, he is a proper gent.

Not surprising - the Black Sea is little more than a big lake. Nowhere to hide or to sail away
-
Keep them guessing.

I did hear about the Ukrainians sinking a submarine. I didn't know that it was the same one they damaged earlier.

"...Eastern provinces. The ones most heavily populated by Russians." I know some Russian speaking Ukrainians who would be extremely offended by this categorisation.
