“Watch your tongue I’ll have it cut from your head” is such a powerful line for no reason whatsoever. It had no right to be such an amazing song 😤

My two favorite bands are MetallicA and Disturbed, but Avenged Sevenfold has perfected the sound of classic thrash/shred metal. It's not all screamo, but has some and real grit and power. The band members are brilliant musicians and they sound flawless. Plus their mixing and layering of instruments is some of the best in all of music. I would love to see them live one day.

Being 67 years old, I've listened to a lot of metal. The way this song begins may well be the best of all time. It couldn't be better. Just solid start to finish. Love the comments, too. Here's my own: I played this song in the rain and it turned into flaming hail!

It's impressive how Mr. Shadows' vocal intensity persists, even after years of vocal strain. He carries all the emotional depth, manifesting as anger and hatred in his delivery. The layers in this song are incredible; the weight and intensity blend seamlessly with its melodramatic essence. Synyster Gates' solo is truly captivating.

This is definitely a song you get pulled over for speeding when you listen to it while your driving.
