I know this video is old but I very much think Where Eagles Dare by Iron Maiden deserved to be in there. Highly memorable, hard hitting, very original and absolutely iconic.

Great list of drummers. One outstanding drum opening which was forgotten here is from the song “Stargazer” by Rainbow, and the drummer Cozy Powell

Pornhub intro is the best one

Why is no one mentioning “Painkiller” from Judas Priests? I challenge you to have a drummer on that can play that! Best drum intro of all time!

If it didn’t start with a tiny bit of synth, a ridiculously amazing one to add to this list would be the intro that Dave Grohl plays on the Queens of the Stone Age song “Song for the Dead”. That is definitely my favorite drum solo of all time.

All great selections and hard to argue with. My favorites are “You Could Be Mine” by Guns N Roses and “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister. Some obscure songs with great drum intros are “Planet Hell” by Nightwish and “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” by Sabaton. The drum intro to “Ghost Division” is very brief and there isn’t really anything special about it, but I love the way it leads into the song. It makes for a great opener for the band live.

In my head, without thinking, 2 drums intro comes to my mind... Rock and roll and We're not gonna take it... They are instantly recognizable I think. Great video and great songs!

I just really enjoy watching musicians do their thing. Seeing Rick play all these instruments so comfortably and make it look effortless is a testament to how hard one works to be that good. This was a fascinating watch.
