Ah, yes, I still remember when these came out in 2009; the first time I ever saw/held one was around that time. I wanted it, but I was just out of college and broke af (you know...#recessionlife), so I wound up getting a DPMS instead, and settled for only being able to shoot this gun in Medal of Honor: Warfighter. I wasn’t able to finally buy a DD rifle (an M4A1) until 2020...a decade after I first became interested in them. I'm also proud to say that I more recently purchased one of the very first M4V1 URGs that Daniel Defense ever manufactured (from the days when they were still based in Garden City, near Savannah, GA).

Vietboy, they just came out with a "Vickers" M4 carbine. So, yeah they work with him!

why is daniel defense and magpul such a sexy combo?

The original...................great patrol and CQB carbine........very light.....add the Surefire X300 in front of the sight post, the BFG 2 point sling, and the Aimpoint T2 and you are GTG............so you have chosen death.

This is not an "Assault Rifle". I own AR's and many of my friends and none of us have ever assaulted anybody with them. We use them for self defense and for sporting purposes.
