The more sedans that disappear from the market, the more I appreciate the ES.

I work at Lexus and let me tell you, all of my colleagues can agree that the es is one of the best for someone looking for a reliable, luxury vehicle.

I actually really appreciate the USB-C ports. For a car that is almost certainly going to be drive for the next decade by most owners, it's much more future-proofed than having a bunch of USB-A ports everywhere. If I just wanted a car to get from point A to point B comfortably and reliably with some luxuries over like, an accord, this would be my car. I love the ES and I've always also loved the exterior design. Quite a handsome vehicle IMO

I'm glad I discovered your channel. I have a 2020 Lexus ES300h Ultra Luxury model and I couldn't be happier since I've had 3 previous Lexus models over the year. This is, by far, the best sedan I've ever owned.

The biggest mistake with the ES is that the rear seats don't fold down. They have a small ski pass through in the middle seat, but too small for any snowboards or surfboards

I have a 2023 ES300h Ultra luxury. I get between 47-49mpg by keeping under 70 most of the time, staying in eco mode, and babying the throttle to keep it in EV mode longer when I don't need to accelerate quickly. It's been an amazing car so far

I just bought the ES300h, and I did a 160 mile road trip and averaged 48.4 MPG!!! - Love my new Lexus
  • I drove my parents ES to SC (from PA) this summer and the comfort/quietness REALLY REALLY pays dividends on long trips. I did the whole 800 mile ride back in one day and wasn't that tired. In my Accord that would be essentially undoable.

People make it seem like sharing mechanics with a Toyota is a bad thing, I like that Lexus uses mostly Toyota mechanics, because I know for sure I’m getting a bulletproof luxury product. Can’t say that about most luxury car brands!
  • I am now on my 4th Lexus and first hybrid - a 2021 ES300h - and all of them have been superb vehicles in every way. The hybrid is spectacular…it drives like a dream and I consistently get 42–44 mpg. Keep to the maintenance schedule and these cars will last forever.

This might be controversial, but I honestly think this spec ES looks better than the IS and I wish it had the athleticism to match.
  • @duke6156
The ES is incredibly comfortable, I work at Lexus and had to deliver one and it’s so quiet and supple it’s actually crazy lol

I've had my 2023 es300h for almost 3 months now and just love it. Same as you, I almost immediately got into a wrestling match with the lane assist as well and described it to a friend the same way you did. It was a very forceful and almost ripped the wheel out of my hands. That was that...Turned it off and never thought about it again. Otherwise the car is fabulous. I use android auto and it is perfect. Soon as I start up my phone connects and goes to the screen. I use voice Control to do everything. So happy I chose this car. My poor highlander is pretty lonely these days unless I need it for hauling stuff or going biking etc. 42 mpg since I got it doing everything including putting it into sport mode and driving fast for a bit to see how it handled it.

Ever since the beginning, the LS and ES really best represent Lexus as a brand, even if the NX & RX make up majority of their sales today.
  • @olatundeaboaba
I can actually feel how smooth and silky the car drives from the video.
  • @alpappalardi7044
If you like a rolling couch. This is it. Dependable , stylish. If u use the self driving , you might fall asleep during the cloud ride
  • Great, great car. Have the F-sport for over 1.5 years now after driving an RX450h. Just loved going back to an efficiënt sedan. The car is so well built, safe and fun then i think this car will be my friend for the long run. Just love it!
