Hey Josh, this video was an absolute masterpiece! I listened to the podcast as well, and I admire your vulnerability. Your videos are stories full of life lessons that provide an altering perspective on life. The old footage of your home was wild too! I can't believe you still have that footage. Amazing work as always my friend.

thanks for sharing this video sir. I'm 52 and One thing I learnt in life is that no matter how little, no matter the age it's never too late to get started and having the mindset that every day of your life you're evolving. Life becomes unpleasurable when you add too much pressure. I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗

I am in my 70s. What I know for sure is this: we never stop evolving and learning; we learn most from our mistakes, so they cannot be failures; self awareness is a good thing but what matters most is what we contribute to others; events that rock us to our core are survivable if we are willing to adapt. Wishing you a happy journey to your 70s!

I've lived this life only solo. I completely agree with you. at 57 I hope to still find that match for the second half of life.
  • That felt really authentic with a solid integrity. 66 was a vintage year.

I love and honor your humbleness and willing to share your story here with us

Listened to that episode of Nathaniel's podcast a while ago. Now this. One thing you can certainly be proud of is how you were able to pass your storytelling talent and passion to Nathaniel. It's amazing to understand where his ease of putting thoughts into words comes from

I appreciate the honesty and the bravery it took to expose your soul like that. It's heartening to see you come out the other side stronger, wiser and more willing to continue to do the deep work on yourself and your relationships. You & Cecelia seem like the perfect couple - I can't imagine either of you with anyone else. I'm glad this worked out well for you both. God bless.

i've recognized myself in your video....patterns, behaviors, emotions and reactions. I'm in my 30's and going through the low - low's, but deep inside , i know this is part of my journey, and I will learn :) Shot out from Philly raised Uzbek :)
  • This is the most honest, practical and raw video ever about reinventing ourselves. Not every dark tunnel leads the brightness in the reawakening
  • Good stuff. Painful yet joyous to watch. Good for you. Failure is not falling down. Failure is not getting up. Abrazos fuerte, companero!
  • You're lucky to have found a partner who wants to grow too and who will support your own. In my experience that's not always a given.
  • Im so glad I clicked on your channel! I’ve subscribed. I lost my husband 10 years ago and it’s been quite the journey. Im wanting what’s next but don’t know what it is. God has been there, carrying me through this foggy period, I know that. Im ready for sunshine now. It’s been very exhausting. The downsizing and moving and trying to navigate life alone and things being so different in every way. Thanks for your encouraging videos.

There’s something so powerful about seeing someone so fully expressed and so in touch with their essence. Thank you for sharing so openly. It was a joy to watch.

10:03 “Initially, I was going to find something positive and insightful to say about those very difficult years, but then I realized there wasn’t anything. Sometimes we miss opportinities in life, it’s how it goes. Not every tunnel is traversed successfully to the other side where we come out transformed somehow.” This IS insightful! ; - )

Best video yet! Thank you for sharing this with us. As a person in his early 60's who is planning to move to France in a year to be close to my family and grandchildren I appreciate the need to keep examining oneself and let go of the script sthat we write for ourselves that actually turn out to hold us back. Keep posting keep inspiring, keep living.
  • @linpin9343
Yes, we as parents in our 50s can so relate ❤
  • When I heard you say poetry, I feel I have to write a message to you. I admire you and your wife's courage to live the life you choose. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world!!
